Chicken Karaage is a must try, it is always good. Noodle was cooked just right with lots of varieties to choose from .

We tried their yummy alcoholic cocktails as we were celebrating the beginning of the summer.

This place was recommended by google and it’s really worth it. The staff were very accommodating and we were especially assisted. The food is sumptuous. Very recommendable.

Absolutely unreal experience at Ramen Isshin last night. Easily one of the best bowls of ramen I’ve had in Toronto.

I ordered the Dragon Ramen and it completely lived up to the hype. The broth had this perfect rich, spicy depth without overpowering the rest of the bowl, and the noodles had an amazing bite to them. Every topping felt intentional and high quality, especially the pork which was insanely tender.

I can usually handle my spice pretty well, but I definitely understand now why they warn people about the spiciness level. It actually brings serious heat while still tasting balanced and flavorful instead of just painfully spicy for no reason.

The atmosphere was also perfect for a date night. Busy and energetic, but still cozy enough to actually talk. Service was quick, friendly, and super organized even with the restaurant packed.

I’ll be back for sure!

Service was good, and the place had plenty of seating space which was nice.

The ramen was just so-so. The pork char siu slices were very thin, and for the price, it didn't really feel worth it. Flavor-wise it was okay, but nothing beyond expectations.

The chicken karaage was even more overpriced. $9.2 for just 4 small pieces - so basically ~$2.5 a bite, not worth it.

Overall, it didn't really aligned with our expectations. We thought it was in a corner of the plaza so the price would have been reasonable, turned out that it wasn't really. Probably wouldn't revisit.

Food (quality, creativity, consistency) - 3/5
Drinks (quality, variety) - NA/5
Ambience (interior design, cleanliness) - 3.5/5
Service (courtesy, knowledge, timeliness) - 3.5/5
Value (quality vs. price) - 2/5
OVERALL - 3

Always a good meal. Only drawback is the time limit on sitting, which doesn’t always allow you to chat with friends after the meal

I like their tsukemen and karaage. Tsukemen came with a thick dipping broth on the side, it was hot and rich and you can dip your noodles into the steaming hot broth and eat. Karaage was juicy and hot every time I ordered.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Ramen Isshin. The appetizers were outstanding, and the broth was incredibly rich, deep, and full of flavor.
As my son - who has visited Japan many times - perfectly said, “This is the restaurant that brings you back to real Japan.” That truly captures the feeling of the place.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, and welcoming, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere from the moment we walked in.
We will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

I have eaten ramen at so many different restaurants in the GTA and abroad that I have lost count. I do however remember the most memorable ramen soups I have eaten. The “Red Dragon” made by Ramen Isshin is absolutely magnificently delicious. I added a bunch of extras like I do with most ramen restaurants. The “Red Dragon” is in my top 3 ramen soups, I love it!. Super spicy with pork and chicken chashu, bean sprouts, bamboo, seaweed, scallions, eggs etc. All I can say is WOW. Thank you so much for offering a ramen soup with such a complex flavour profile. If you love spicy then you will love the “Red Dragon”.

Just came back from Japan less than a week ago and was missing/craving ramen so we thought we would give Ramen Isshin a try. The ramen had a good springy chew to it, the broth had good flavour depth, and the chicken karaage and age tofu were very tasty though the prices is not cheap. The night we went, the place was staffed with all Japanese staff so that reminded us of our time in Japan however the restaurant was extremely, beyond loud…so loud that I could barely hear the conversation at my own table! For that reason, I can only give 4/5

Really enjoyed Spicy Veggie Miso Ramen and the broth was rich and flavorful(it's not that spicy).

The only thing I didn’t love was the wok-fried ground tofu. It was a bit too chewy for me. I think it would be nice to have an option to choose between ground tofu and regular tofu, since a softer tofu would soak up the broth really well.

Overall, still a solid bowl of ramen and a place I’d definitely come back to.

A bit older venue than their branch in Queen st. We liked that one better. Service was fast and good. Didn't like the light shoyu at all! The soup tasted like seafood but it wasn't part of the menu description.

Atmosphere rated 4/5 because the music was slightly too loud and I would have preferred a physical food menu, since the drink menu was a physical one.

The pork in my ramen was cooked to perfection. I had the gyoza and Kotteri Rich Shoyu ramen. They were both delicious.
Food arrived incredibly quickly after ordering. Staff were attentive and friendly.
I had the hibiscus yuzu soda to drink and I would recommend.
Great place, would love to come back if I had more time here.
