We had a great experience at STK Toronto. The restaurant is well-designed and has a very pleasant atmosphere. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were excellent.
Our server, Kyla, was the highlight of the night. She was unbelievably attentive, helpful with the menu, and genuinely funny. Her exceptional service really made the evening. Highly recommend asking for her if you visit!
STK Steakhouse Toronto was such a great dining experience. The atmosphere is upscale but still fun, perfect for a night out.
I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Super juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Exactly how a ribeye should be.
The sides honestly stole the show too. The mashed potatoes were smooth and buttery, the truffle fries were crispy with just the right amount of truffle flavor, and the mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and so comforting. Everything paired so well together.
Definitely on the pricier side, but the quality, ambiance, and overall experience made it worth it. Would 100% come back. Special thanks to our server COCO, she was amazing and so sweet! Thank you so much!
This spot seems a bit confused. Initial thoughts on arrival were that it felt like a lounge/nightclub more than a restaurant. The dining area was spacious with large tables with wrap around booth seating. Our waiter Michael was great! He was very helpful with my wine queries and checked in just the right amount.
The food: we went for steaks (as is tradition for us on birthdays) and I was surprised and disappointed that they cut the steaks before they get to the table. I’ve never had that done before and it was an issue especially for my cut. I don’t think the meat was rested properly before being sliced as I was brought a bloody plate. I asked for a bit more cook time hoping it would help but once you lose those juices that’s it. The sides were absolutely delicious though! The Brussels sprouts and potato gratin were incredible!
We even got a nice piece of cake for the occasion!
All said and done, we will not return. For a place named STK, there was very little respect for the meat
I loved the last experience on Nov 20th with my sisters and came back on Saturday Nov 29th to celebrate a best friend's birthday. It was her very first time and she was so impressed. Mission accomplished! Thank you STK Team again on a magical night of amazing drinks, food and ambiance. Our group of 5 rated the main server Stephanie Mae, executive chef Gian Carlo and the very attentive manager Enrique 5 stars. We believe their passion in delivering excellence in customer service is outstanding. Will be back!
What a find!
Gorgeous interior with a really cool vibe. Don’t let the ‘live DJ’ thing put you off, the music helped create the atmosphere but didn’t threaten to make our ears bleed.
Food was magnificent, we both had steak (why wouldn’t we?) cooked exactly how we asked for it to be and the sides were perfection (we shared two sides and there was more than plenty)
To top it all off our server, Stephanie, was an absolute joy who could not have looked after us any better, she’s a real asset to the restaurant.
Oh, I also had the best dirty martini I’ve ever tasted 🍸
We were very disappointed with our first experience at stk. We went for my sons 22 birthday and 10 of us went for a dinner celebration. There was dog poop right outside the door and 3 of us stepped in it. We were all shocjed that for a high class restaurant this wasnt cleaned up and was still there when we left. Its very nice inside and service was good but food was not up to par. We ordered tomahawk steak and several other steaks, caviar and truffle fries which was the best part of the meal. We spent almost $2000 for 10 of us and it wasnt worth it and we will never go back again.
To start, the bread is just a blob and truly flavorless. I cannot begin to even compare it to any bread I’ve had in the past. All I can figure is it’s made for looks. Cold, denseless and served with cold blue cheese something over it. The waiter was quick to suggest avoiding the mushroom casserole and the creamed spinach. We opted instead for the au gratin potatoes. The dish looked cool but was flavorless and just blah. Filet was fine — on par with a steak at TGI Fridays. STK is not a restaurant. It’s a night club that just happens to serve bad, expensive food.
Happy Hour
The food was, for the most part, quality Happy Hour fare . Deep fried but delicious. However, they had a “surf and turf” for $21 where the steak was 3 oz. The beef looked tiny and what was unreasonable was that it was cooked so thoroughly (asked for medium) it was black and thin and no more than a forkful. The one prawn was ok. Stupidly we didn’t complain because we had family with us. The service was gracious. Our fault for not sending it back . Too bad. They shouldn’t have it on the menu if they can’t do a better presentation.
