Bonjour Brioche

A great place for brunch, as evidenced by the wait on week-end mornings, Bonjour Brioche offers various kinds of sweet and savory foods with a French accent. Very good croissants and brioches, that come in several flavors (chocolate, almond, custard). Bonjour Brioche also offers cakes (sold whole or by the slice) and top-of-the-line baguettes, fresh and perfectly crusty.

Absolutely delicious! I bought a loaf of brioche bread and a spinach, feta, and roasted red pepper quiche from here to share with friends.

The quiche was so creamy and the crust was light and flaky. I've never had a quiche like that, the feta and egg mixture blended so well. I would 10/10 get another one from here.

The brioche bread was just the right amount of sweet and was really fluffy. I used it to make French toast and it was a hit.

I ordered both of these for pick up so I can only rate the atmosphere based on the pickup window. The attendant was really nice and the black board and overall vibe of bonjour brioche was excellent.

I am new to Riverside neighbourhood and was recommended this restaurant. They have a wonderful and welcoming staff. I had plain and blueberry custard filled brioche and also fruit tarts. I love the fact that their pastries are not too sweet. They also have great coffee. One time I stopped by with my dog and they offered her a biscuit! I guess they are a great staple to this neighbourhood. Thank you, Bonjour Brioche!

We have enjoyed Bonjour Brioche since it first opened, many, many years ago. We were thrilled that many of staff remained when ownership changed, and the food is as delicious as ever (spicy bacon sandwiches, quiche, lemon twists, flourless chocolate cake, and their latte bowls are some of our favourites…). The service (especially at their take out window) is also great. I don’t often call in my take out order, but when I do, the person who picks up the phone always remembers my order and my name.
It’s a nice place to enjoy a weekend brunch too.

Some of the most amazing breakfast in the city! We love both the indoor space and the outdoor patio. Also there to go window with fresh pastries is amazing. Even their little baguettes don’t compare to others. Can’t recommend this place enough. I usually take guests here when they visit from out of town

I really had a pleasant experience here, Nathan my server was so nice and always asking if I need coffee refills or something else. Shout out to the maitre d due to his very welcoming personality. It was busy by the patio but had 2 tables for me to choose for inside. I had drip coffee and basque cheesecake and I really enjoyed it. There’s two washroom downstairs but no lift, it would be an issue for ppl with mobility issues. I spent $16 for coffee+basque cheesecake+Tip, which is a steal. I will be back.

What a super place! It’s small, cozy and very friendly. The food was incredible and so tasty. It’s a popular place, so you might need to line up. But it’s worth the wait.

Bonjour, and goodbye, I'm going up to my room to enjoy my triple banana pudding in peace. The trio of the creamy banana pudding base, moist banana bread chunks, and caramelized slices of banana bring a rich taste with hints of creamy vanilla, and finished with a drizzle of caramel to add a sweet richness in each bite.

Flourless Chocolate Cake - Decadent and rich chocolate cake but quite heavy and dense. Exterior was slightly more crisp, and texture was smooth. Chocolate taste had depth, like at least two different tastes of chocolate. Also not overly sweet.

Spicy Bacon - Bacon had a nice balance of flavour, not overly salty with a slight sweetness. Cheddar provided some sharpness and creaminess along with the avocado to increase depth, and tomato for a fresh ingredient. Baguette was still crisp even with takeout but got a little chewy after a bit.

Delicious French pastries and brunch. I had the benny with smoked salmon and it was great, the eggs were perfectly runny and the croissant was flaky and buttery. Their salad comes with their own home made dressing which is also very yummy. I highly recommend trying their pastries and tarts as well, taking a couple home, they are so good! It’s worth the wait for a table.

Bonjour Brioche was an amazing brunch spot, the place was simple and cozy. The service was great and everything was delicious.

Highly recommend the salmon eggs Benedict, probably the best eggs Benedict I've had and the French toast was amazing as well.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to try most of the pastries as they were sold out (around 1PM). If you want to try the brioche or croissants I suggest going earlier.

This gem of a French patisserie and bistro has had new owners since early 2023. We've become regulars there since re-discovering it last fall. The pastries are a triumph, buttery, rich and worth every calorie. We've tried many of the brunch items and can say that everything's mouthwatering. Our favourites include the quiche with salad (we've also ordered full quiches to go), the eggs benedict with smoked salmon on a croissant (divine! and available on weekends), and the omelettes with salad and a generous slice of baguette. The Croque Monsieur is very good too. And we try to leave room for a cinnamon raisin pastry. They also do open window pastry sales for croissant-craving pedestrians who wander by. It's a little spot of European gastronomy in Toronto's Riverside/Leslieville. And this summer, they've started offering cocktails and light fare on Saturday nights. We're hooked!

Just go for the baguette, it was very good, not great.
Don’t bother with the cafe unless you’re ok with luke warm lattes and meagerly filled stodgy pastries that can’t be warmed up for some reason.
Cramped and dingy too.

I ordered ahead for a cake and when I went to pick up they had no record. Everyone seemed a little confused and despite having a cake there I still had to wait over 10 min to get it.
The customer service was just ok.
I've been here before. The food is good as was the cake.
Service and organization could improve.
pre-ordered items should not require you to stand in the line where people are placing orders for pick up
