Tom's Dairy Freeze
Stopped by Tom’s Dairy Freeze and tried their famous soft-serve twist ice cream with a chocolate dip, and it was absolutely delicious! The ice cream was creamy, smooth, and full of flavor, while the chocolate coating added the perfect crunch and sweetness.
A classic treat done right. Definitely worth the visit, and I’ll be coming back to try more items from the menu. Highly recommend for anyone craving great ice cream!
Amazing Ice CREAM!! Underestimated just how good the quality and taste would be.
Went here on a hot May evening so there was a decent line up but it moved fast since the service was incredibly good and swift.
We got the Blue Raspberry and Butterscotch dipped soft serve cones and the dips were amazing while also not being overly sweet and just complimented the vanilla soft serve perfectly. Will be back for sure.
Weather is on the upswing and our local ice cream institution is officially open for business. GIRL BOSS plus BOY BOSS wanting Etobicoke's best, that was the recipe for this adventure.
The line was manageable and moved fast today.
The girl boss got the Watermelon Sherbert and Chocolate Fudge Brownie in a waffle cone. The watermelon sherbet was such a lovely red that someone asked her what it was just so he could order it.
I got the Sundae Parfait. Beautiful presentation in its tall glass cup. The glass worked as a nice insulation which helped keep the ice cream colder a lot longer.
With better days ahead, try and find time to treat yourself. Just make sure you have cash when you go as Tom's is cash only. I respect 'cash is King' business's as it keeps more money in their pocket.
With countless options to choose from you can customize your order to your liking and try something new every visit. Here's to brighter, warmer and delicious days ahead.
Take a lick and decide for yourself. The cones are sweet, colourful and super delicious. It was cold when we arrived there early evening and we got served right away but soon after it was super busy and everyone was enjoying their favourite ice cream. Enjoy it your way. You need to experience Tom’s dairy freeze and it’s easy to get to from Toronto. Tom deals in cash only however I believe there is an ATM on site at the side of the building.
Came by around 8 PM and grabbed a twisted cone and wow, you can really tell they know how to make great ice cream! It was super creamy and smooth, not icy like what you sometimes get from fast food chains or ice cream trucks. You can taste the quality in every bite. My friends and I always enjoy their ice cream, even in the colder weather. Definitely one of our go-to spots!

I pass by Tom’s Dairy Freeze often during my runs but never had cash on me to stop. One day after a long run, I finally planned ahead, carried some cash, and went with friends.
I tried their banana split and also got a chocolate-dipped cone with peanuts – both were such a treat, especially after a run. The portions are generous, the ice cream is rich, and the toppings really make it feel special.
It’s cash only, so make sure to plan ahead, but honestly, the experience was worth it. A lovely spot to reward yourself a nd hang out with friends after a busy day!

Visited Tom’s Dairy Freeze over the long weekend and, I had the butterscotch-dipped cone, the banana split. The butterscotch dip tasted a little artificial, but the vanilla ice cream inside was unbelievably good, so creamy, smooth, and full of flavor. The banana split was the standout though? fresh, sweet, and absolutely delicious.
Service was quick and friendly, even with the long lines. Parking is very limited, and on weekends you can expect to wait about 20–30 minutes, but it’s totally worth it once you finally get your ice cream. Just remember, they’re cash-only, so come prepared. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the generous portions.
Overall, Tom’s Dairy Freeze is a must-visit for ice cream lovers. I’d happily go back, especially for the banana split and that incredible vanilla ice cream.

For 1.5 years I have been driving past this place in the summer time and noticed that the that the lines up are extremely long whether it a week day or weekend. I thought to myself their ice cream must be really good. My wife felt for some ice cream so we stopped by a Baskin Robins as we walk to the front door she said how about that ice cream place that you are always telling me about with the long line ups. I said yes, ok let’s go there instead. It was about 5 minutes drive down the road. I had a cone with 1 scoop of Pistachio ice cream and it was worth the wait, it didn’t disappoint. My wife had 2 scoops but, I scoop is enough of a serving. I highly recommend this ice cream shop if you don’t mind the wait. Please note that they only accept cash but there is an ATM outside the establishment.

Every time I drive by this spot there's always a 20-30 person line up. Was fortunate enough to drive by one day and saw only 2 people in line. Immediately turned in and found a spot.
The joint has just a small town vibe I love it. The soft serve is outstanding. Tastes like real cream, probably the best soft serve I've had to date.

I have been going to this local institution for over 20 years, so I speak from experience. I am finding the small cones have been getting smaller and smaller over time until the one I had tonight was just dab on the cone. I guess tiny is the new small.
I also get them dipped , and it was only half dipped, I asked to have it redipped and the server said that the way it is,
Signed
Disappointed
