Went for our first time a day ago and it’s a nice little gem in the neighborhood. Really good food, our table had 3 different main course items and all were really good. Fries were very good too and quite a generous serving. A little expensive, but not overly so. 3 of us were fed for $75 and shared fries given the size. We did have leftovers. Staff very friendly as well, I promised I’d leave a review as I was quite impressed.

When we arrived we were the only ones in the restaurant & were enjoying baby's first restaurant trip. Unfortunately we planned poorly & soon the place was inundated with kids on their lunch break. The person working was so kind and asked everyone to be quiet/wait outside so the baby could keep sleeping & we could enjoy our lunch.

AAA flank steak seared to a juicy medium rare, herby chimichurri, tangy garlic mayo, earthy portobellos, all that juice being somewhat contained between two slices of ciabatta bread. A messy but indulgent meal.
If you're looking for sandwiches that hit hard (in the best way possible), Knuckle Sandwich is the place to be. This Toronto gem takes classic comfort food and elevates it with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and bold flavors that leave a lasting impression.
We started with the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, and honestly, we could've stopped right there-crispy, golden perfection with juicy, tender meat inside. But we powered through (for science, of course) and moved on to the Smash Burger, which was the ideal balance of seared beef, melted cheese, and pillowy soft bun. The Flank Steak Sandwich was easily the showstopper-packed with rich, meaty flavor and just the right amount of sauce to bring it all together.
To mix things up, we tried the Baja Bowl with Added Chicken-a fresh and hearty alternative, proving that healthy doesn't mean boring. And no meal is complete without fries, so we dove into the Carne Asada Fries, a loaded, indulgent masterpiece that had us scraping the plate clean.

The customer service was great. The worker was able to answer all our questions and gave some helpful recommendations. Very friendly.
The food itself was decent. I ate the Cubano and the bread was crispy on the outside and soft inside (delicious )but I found it to be greasy/fatty. My partner ate the eggplant parm and said it was good. We split the Danforth fries. We both got a diet coke. After taxes and tip, the final cost was over sixty bucks - much too expensive in our option. I think if they weren't being "hip", it would be better.
The atmosphere was meh. One of those hip places with uncomfortable seating.
WOW WOW WOW!!! Hidden gem in the city!!! The menu alone brought us there!! The photos on Instagram looked great!!! We get there and the smell drew is right in!!! We got the classic chicken and flank steak sandwiches and the tater tots supreme. Generous portions and taste extraordinaire!!! Beautifully crafted, flavour overload in a great way!! Nothing overpowered anything else, it was so well balanced and just taste with every bite!!!! Rustic ideas but modern spins on it and it really brought out the right impacts. Messy goodness and you love every bite of it! Definitely going back!!!

Very sweet eggplant was just four small circles on its own tasted ok but was overwhelmed by the relish and cheese. Had the eggplant been cut long and thin and it had more of it with an option for onions hot peppers or mushrooms it could have been a decent sandwich. As it stands it felt more like a meat sandwich without the meat.
