Went to pick up some breakfast sandwiches this morning. I ordered the pork belly for myself and zaatar cauliflower with egg for my partner. When I got home I found they gave me a sausage sandwich instead, and the cauliflower sandwich had no egg. The English muffins were also not cut well - mine was missing a chunk of it.
I didn’t love the sausage sandwich (which I didn’t order), and my partner was craving a breakfast sandwich so was disappointed with not getting the egg. I called to let them know and the offered to fix it if I came back but I was already home and didn’t want to have to make the trip again. I wish they just got it right the first time and gave us what we paid for.

It was obvious from their name that I ordered their smoked beef brisket. Tender, moist, and well-balanced between melt-in-your-mouth fat and smoky aroma, the brisket could stand well on its own. However, the airy brioche bun lends a rich, eggy aroma, while aged cheddar adds subtle nuttiness. Tangy mayo and coleslaw provide depth and texture contrast, complemented by a subtly sweet, smoky BBQ sauce that completes the bite.

I rarely venture into to the West end but my friend told me Hot pork is a must stop for lunch. I had the Smoked Chicken Caesar Pork Belly Kale Parmesan Caesar Dressing with Croutons, sandwich, served on a Brioche bun. Absolutely incredible! Beautifully smoked behind the premises, crunchy, fresh with kale, to complement and balance the smoked meat.
I shared the jerk Pork sandwich with mango slaw-delicious. The fries were beautifully crispy and salty. I highly recommend a trip to Hot Pork at Dundas and Grace.

I came in during off peak hours so it wasn’t busy- 2:30 pm Sunday, 30 minutes before closing. the service was quick and the sandwich was ready in five minutes.
The staff were friendly and recommended the beef brisket lunch sandwich. I like that there are multiple size options for your meats (4, 6, etc oz) at different prices so you can order based on how hungry you are. The beef brisket was very flavorful and not dry.
They have washroom downstairs and it’s a great location to grab for lunch before heading to thr park!

Stopped by for lunch in Feb 2026 with some friends. Tried their bbq brisket breakfast sandwich, but I didn't realize how small it would be so I wish I'd gotten the regular brisket sandwich like a friend got. Sandwich was still absolutely delicious though. Would definitely come back again.

Hot Pork is honestly one of the most unique food experiences in Toronto right now. The menu is super creative, like nothing else in the city, blending high-end, carefully prepared ingredients with a casual, to-go format that somehow elevates both.

You can really tell there’s a deep level of care and craft behind everything. The owner is genuinely engaged, passionate, and excited to share what he’s making, which adds something special to the whole experience. It doesn’t feel transactional, it feels personal, and the vibe is just really welcoming.

What makes Hot Pork stand out even more is that it’s a small, family-run business putting out seriously high-quality food. You can feel the heart and soul in every detail, from the flavours to the presentation to the overall vibe. It’s the kind of place you want to support, not just because the food is excellent, but because the people behind it truly care.

The chicken sandwich here is definitely tasty, but it’s very salty. And I’m not someone who only eats one type of cuisine — I travel and eat a wide variety of food, and even by global standards this sandwich is on the salty side.

If you enjoy strong, salty flavors, you might really like it

If I could eat 10 pork belly breakfast sandwiches in a row here I would. It’s like a warm hug. Perfectly cooked, easy flavour to fall for and texture of the entire meal is perfect. The folks here are super friendly and this place deserves everyone’s attention. Been eating and snacking in WQW and Trinity Bellwoods for nearly 20 years. All of you should come here.

Hot Pork is such a solid neighbourhood spot. Yes, the sandwiches are the main draw, but everything here feels really well thought out — from the quality of the meats to the pickles and sides. Nothing is trying too hard, it’s just really good food made with care. The menu has enough variety that you can keep coming back and still try something new. One of those places you end up recommending to friends without even thinking about it.

Oh my god. What a hidden gem. We split their breakfast sandwich with three types of meat and a poutine, and both were incredible. My partner is a serious poutine lover and we have tried (over a hundred?) poutines across the GTA and Canada. I can confidently say this gravy is one of the best we have had.
The sandwich was absolutely perfect. Just look at it. We also tried the soup of the day, carrot ginger, and it was gorgeous.
This would not be an everyday spot for me since the dishes are on the heavier side, but it is definitely a special treat that is well worth going and returning to.

this was an unbelievably phenomenal breakfast sandwich — i never imagined brisket and pork belly could taste so good and come together to create such a complex and harmonious experience. the bbq combo breakfast sandwich was the PERFECT medley of textures: the crispness of the fried egg AND the bark-like smoky salty ends of the brisket????? life-changing. the MELTING, succulent fattiness of the meats mingling with the juices of the tender, steaming meat??? absolutely immaculate. i usually don’t like english muffin sandwiches because the bread feels stale and cheap to me, but even these buns were so soft. the flavours of the bbq sauce were also done so well — it wasn’t overpowering or too sweet or sickening at all — the balance of smokiness, tanginess, and sweetness, combined by a bit of light creamy mayo, was TRULY masterful.

the breakfast potatoes were also FANTASTIC. they were supperrrrr mushy and piping hot, every chunk was heavily seasoned with cajun, and i got a bit of lime aioli on the side that was a bit sour and a bit tangy, which was good with the powerful salty seasoning.

not to mention, the portions were actually so generous (especially the potatoes, and also the sandwich was stuffed with slabs of brisket of pork belly) and affordable, AND all the food came out fresh and so hot and stayed hot throughout the entire meal. i actually think i burned my mouth a little because of how excited i was to devour everything in front of me.

As an international traveler with a passion for discovering the best local food in every city, Hot Pork was an absolute delight to find. Recommended by friends, it was easy to reach from downtown Toronto.

The place is small and cozy — perfect for a quick chat and, of course, an unforgettable brisket sandwich. As a meat lover, it was everything I hoped for: crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, bursting with flavor.

Whenever I return to Toronto, Hot Pork will definitely be a mandatory stop.

This place is fabulous. They smoke their own brisket and make the best smoked brisket sandwich, loaded with perfect, tender meat and crunchy slaw, that is to be found anywhere. It's the only thing I've tried but the friend who introduced me to the place has tried almost everything else on the select menu and says it is all perfect. And this friend has very exacting tastes. I will be going back to try the other menu items.
Lambo's sandwiches is right across the street. It's not bad but nowhere near as special or delicious.
