A solid latin sandwich! Cubans. Adobo, saucy delicious! The hot self serve hot sauce and mayo added some serious kick as well. The sandwich was fresh and the bread fresh crispy and the filling super flavorful. Sweet and tangy and worth a try if you are Craving a hot sandwich for take away!
I absolutely loved this spot. We got the chorizo & cheese torta, and the chicharron burrito (and fries) and everything tasted so so so good. Very simple menu, but done so well. The staff were also very kind and welcoming, and also offered us samples of their agua frescas. Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu!
The one and only thing to note is that there isn’t a lot of seating (we went in the winter time, so sitting outside wasn’t an option) but inside there is a bench and also a ledge against the windows.
What a gem in the neighborhood. Tried this today and I’m sure will be my go-to for delicious Mexican sandwiches.
My favourites? Chorizo and cheese (chorizo and cheese) & Pierna en adobo. Or the Torta Cubana so you get the best of those two!
Finally a place with very housemade and fresh meats and ingredients. The fresh fruit waters are also amazing, that cucumber-lime is a killer!
So happy to have discovered this lovely and delicious place, thanks to the staff in the front who are extremely nice and explained me every option in detail! So excited to be back soon!
Truly cannot recommend this place enough! We’re out for a walk and wanted a sammy for a picnic! Service was absolutely incredible. We got samples, great suggestions, and left very happy! One thing to note is eat your sandwich right away cause they’re juice and you don’t want it to get too soggy but can’t WAIT to visit on our next trip!
very greasy, way too much meat/eggplant to bread ratio. the wrappings were dripping in oil when we opened the it up. our sandwiches were pretty hard to hold with both hands, let alone keeping all the toppings in one bite. the thin bread pretty much slid off immediately after opening it so we had to reconstruct the sandwich a couple times. we ordered the cubano and eggplant, but found the cubano was mostly pork with literally only a few coin slices of pickle, onion and a ton of cheese. the eggplant was sliced way too thick and was tough to hold intact with the thin bread. the accompanying hot sauce and garlic mayo were great. all in all, i think we just got a sunday lunch with a new chef. still think this place has potential!
I tried the Chicken Milanese sandwich and it was decent, but didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The sandwich came with a great combo of hot sauce and garlic/spicy mayo, plus a side of jalapeños which added a nice kick. The flavours were there, but something about it just didn’t fully come together.
That said, the sauces were solid, and I could tell there's potential here. I'm definitely open to giving it another shot, the rest of the menu looks promising, and I’m curious to try some of the other sandwiches.
Not my favourite this time, but not writing it off yet!

This place serves up a mouthwatering variety of flavorful creations with fresh ingredients that are simply unbeatable. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual lunch or a quick bite with friends. The staff are super friendly and eager to help you find your next favorite sandwich. Don’t miss their signature blend of sauces that take every bite to a whole new level! Trust me, this is a hidden gem at 616 Gladstone avenue you won’t want to miss !
I tried this small takeout place last Friday and it was so good that I went back the next day for seconds. Such friendly staff, this place is off the beaten path close to Dufferin subway station. The Chicken Milanese sandwich was so delicious! Also had the Cubano which was equally as good! If you love sandwiches this is a must try spot.
Both (cubana and beef barbacoa) were super delicious!! the garlic mayo dip and jalapeño pepper were good additions as well. The hot sauce also had a lovely smokey flavour.
Worth noting that on google, the menu tab says the beef barbacoa contains avocado. Upon asking, they said it didn’t, but they added it free of charge :)
Beef barbacoa was delicious, moist, and rich. Service was fast and friendly. There are two benches to sit at but seems like this is more of a pick up rather than dine in spot. Free street parking available. Will definitely be back.
Accessibility note: Front door is not automatic but has a short ramp for entry. There does not appear to be a washroom available for customers (I may be wrong).
It was a good value for the portion size, filled with tender, juicy meat. Paired with their sauce on the side and jalapeños 🤤Me and my boyfriend was chef kissing all the way. Their homemade tres leches cake was also moist and refreshingly light, wrapping up the meal nicely.
(A sandwich is as big as a “banh my” if you know what it is, or a large red mango)
Got the eggplant sandwich and was not disappointed. Flavourful & hot, delicious bread - and the perfect amount of sauce (just a little bit spicy) & cheese (just a little bit melted). Greatly balanced and warming on a frigid day. Serviced by some wonderful people!! Will be back soon!
