Sisters and Co is a popular innovative fusion of Hong Kong-style cafe (Cha Chaan Teng) and traditional breakfast food with locations in downtown Toronto and Markham/Unionville. Known for its fusion of Western and Chinese comfort food, the restaurant serves up classic bunch cafe dishes that keep customers coming back. The only reason I have to come back to Toronto.

The food was absolutely amazing but the service was not good. We were told it was a 15 to 20 minute wait but ended up coming back 50 minutes later asking about the status. We were told they had contacted us multiple times but we at least got nothing on our end. They seem to be a no rush for getting a table ready and the service we also ordered three drinks and only got two had to remind me of the second drink which we didn’t get until 20 minutes later.

Sisters & Co. was definitely worth checking out. We waited about 30 minutes for a table, but the food made the wait worthwhile.

We ordered the Cookie Butter Pancakes, Earl Grey Pancakes, Char Siu Eggs Benedict, Mushroom Truffle Eggs Benedict, and the Chicken & Waffles. Everything was well prepared and beautifully presented. The pancakes were fluffy with unique flavors that weren’t overly sweet, and both Eggs Benedict dishes were cooked perfectly with rich, flavorful sauces. The chicken and waffles were also delicious, the only small criticism is that the chicken could have been a little crispier, but it was still juicy and paired well with the waffles.

Overall, everything was cooked well and the quality really stood out. If you don’t mind waiting a bit during busy hours, it’s definitely a spot worth trying for brunch.

My daughter and I stumbled upon Sister’s & Co one Saturday morning, and it was such a great find. She ordered the Biscoff pancakes, which were perfectly fluffy and just the right amount of sweet—not overpowering at all. I had the avocado toast topped with a sunny-side-up egg, and the fresh salad on the side made it feel perfectly balanced. But the real star? The home fries. They are absolutely incredible and completely addictive—you won’t be able to stop eating them. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back! The restaurant is clean, but small and the seating isn’t the most comfortable.

The fries were crispy and tasty. The hojicha latte was decent as well. Even on a weekday brunch, we had to wait around 45 minutes to get a table! Also, the English muffin tasted a bit stale and the poached egg was slightly undercooked for my preference!!

The woman working this morning with the blue poncho was insanely rude and sarcastic when we were just asking questions, which honestly made the experience uncomfortable from the start. The guy who served us afterward was nice though.

We got two avocado Benedicts and they were okay, but definitely not memorable. I’ve had much better before, and these just didn’t wow me. The fries were good.

Overall, if you’re in the area and want to grab a quick brunch or lunch, it’s fine. But I wouldn’t go out of my way or make a special trip for it.

The food was great, but the service was exceptional! My partner and I came here on a busy Sunday afternoon for brunch, and even though it was packed, we felt well taken care of.

They have an extensive brunch menu, but the staff is ready to make recommendations based on your taste preferences. We ended up going with the Itty Bitty Wontons, Chicken Katsu Club Sandwich, Earl Grey Pancakes, a Cappuccino, and Taro Latte. The wontons were perfectly crunchy, and the pancakes were so soft and fluffy! I loved the cute hearts on the plate 🥰 Will have to come back to try their Bulgogi Beef Benedict and Gochujang Chicken & Waffles!

Breakfast is the best meal IMO but this place takes it to another level! With Asian inspired dishes, this puts a delicious twist that everyone can enjoy! I highly recommend the gochujang chicken waffles HUGE portion. Also the eggs Benedict are a must.

And to round out your meal don’t sleep on the pancakes, they are a must try as well. Super fluffy and flavourful sweetness. BUT not too sweet best compliment ;)

i've been wanting to come here for years and ever found myself in the position to do so, but last weekend i was finally able to!! so frickin yummy and our server was sooooooo sweet!! they were really accommodating considering it was almost closing and service was fast and caring. i ordered the bulgogi benny with the pink ube latte and both were everything i could've hoped for and more

But honestly this place is great! It’s very small, not ideal for large groups, and only about 6-7 small tables, most of which are tables of 2.

On weekends they don’t take resos so just beware.

The menu is great and we loved the uniqueness of it, there’s a lot of dishes you can’t find anywhere else. We ordered 3 different dishes and they were all great.

Would definitely come back to try other dishes.

By that logic, getting the chicken and waffles makes this even more than a complete meal, a choice I don’t regret one bit. Sweet, spicy and satisfying, the star protein is like crispy chicken tenders on gochujang steroids. The waffle had a pleasant contrast of crisp exterior and a soft, chewy interior that holds its texture without turning mushy. On the side, you can drizzle a ton (or a little) of maple syrup to add a touch of sweetness to contrast the savory gochujang, while the crisp cucumber kimchi would be a welcome addition to any Korean meal. My brunches aren’t complete without pancakes, and these buttermilk pancakes were among the lightest and fluffiest ones I’ve sunk my teeth into, like melting into your bed after a long day’s work. They also stand out for their subtle sweetness and distinct eggy aroma, which is heightened with a floral and citrusy Earl Grey mascarpone and tangy strawberry sauce.
