Large Ali J, rice AND fries, beef only, light on all sauces. THIS MEAL WILL SEND YOU TO HEAVEN.
Great service, always busy, good music (a little loud). I always seen the same guys working there. Ill come here even if they bump up prices, gotta keep local alive. But honestly I come just because it just tastes better period.
Thank yall for blessing our taste buds for years. 🙏
By far the best shawarma I've ever had and its not even close!
Lezzet is in a league of their own when it comes to shawarma - their meat is cut right off the spit, seasoned well and delicious on its own - something I find most other shawarma spots lack as they rely on the sauces for flavour. That said, the sauces here are also incredible and do not miss. Everything is delicious here right down to the rice.
Portions are massive and excellent value for the price.
Be prepared to wait, especially if your coming around lunch time 20 minutes minimum is to be expected, but employees work fast and efficiently so just be patient. I'm not one to ever really wait in lines but honestly, its worth the wait.
I've tried dozens of shawarma spots across the city including all those viral spots influencers like to push and to be honest, most end up in disappointment. As mentioned before, Lezzet really is in a league of their own and while they may not get the same attention as some of these other shops, they more than deserve the crown of the best shawarma in the GTA - I'm certain no other spot does it better regardless of how many hundreds of shawarma spots are scattered across the city.
Highly, highly recommend!
While stopping by at a friend's place, I wanted to grab some lunch and ended up at Lezzet's. I'm glad that I went there pretty early because the lineup was massive! Prepare to give yourself about 30 minutes of waiting time just to get to the counter.
The service are quick, professional and accommodating. I got the Chicken Marie's.
For how much you pay, you get a ton of food! For the Marie's, you get a salad option, rice, chicken and two toppings. All of the vegetables and toppings are super fresh and crisp. Great turnips too! The rice was also cooked very well and the cook on the chicken was even and kept the juicyness.
I would like a little more of a crisp from the chicken to give it a contrasting texture. Other than that, this was a very good plate of shawarma platter. Worth the wait? Possibly if you're hungry.
The absolute best shawarma ever made.
These guys have been serving fresh, delicious, real meat and food for a long time in Mississauga and it has actually gotten even better over the years.
The owners work hard, are good people and are a pleasure to deal with.
The prices are amazing, especially in comparison to the fake meat shawarma places around Mississauga and GTA.
If you’re hungry, come by you won’t be disappointed. These guys are the OG.
Very clean inside and all the food is fresh.
It’s a popular place for good reason. If you see line, no worries it goes fast.
I live in the USA and every time I visit family in Mississauga I make sure to stop at Lezzet Shawarma. It is honestly so yummy and I love it every single time. The shawarma is always fresh, juicy, and packed with amazing flavor. It is easily the best shawarma I have had hands down. I even bring some back with me for my friends in the USA because they love it too. Definitely a must visit spot.
The food was amazing, probably the best chicken shawarma I have ever had. There were a lot of people lined up for food which was a good sign to begin with, the crew behind the counter were super efficient while still providing great service and quality.

The mixed platter here is incredible and the portions are massive.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The meat is perfectly seasoned and topped with a generous amount of their signature garlic and spicy sauces.
Everything from the yellow rice to the fresh red cabbage is spot on. Best value for an authentic, filling meal!

My friends wanted to go to this place as apparently it is the best shawarma in "Toronto". Not sure about the Toronto part, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Considering we went during a snow storm, I didn't expect there to be a long line, but I was mistaken. It took 30 minutes to order the food and I got the Ali-J. The pricing is more than fair, especially compared to similar spots and considering how popular this place is.
The food is good overall, however, I didn't like the sweet sauce which I found odd. While it did not live up the hype, I still enjoyed it. My only complaints are the long line up and how early they close. Personally, I would not wait 30 minutes for this food.

Tried coming to this place twice and both times they were closed 😪
Took a break and decided to chance it and come again and it was opened.
The vibe inside is great. It's not overally huge but there are a few tables to dine if you so choose to. It was fairly easy going the day we went but pretty soon after the line extended beyond the doors.
The menu is highlighted above with prices. And everything is listed accordingly which helps when you arrive at the cash you know what you're ordering.
Ordering is fairly simple. The gentleman at the cash was very polite and friendly. He greeted each customer and was exceptionally patient in answering all questions.
We ended up getting two chicken Shawarma plates, one with rice and one with fries.
We ate in the car. First of all the portion size is generous and the dood in itself is delicious 😋 I say this as an ardent lover of Shawarma who travels to Ottawa to eat a good Shawarma 👍🏾
For me the garlic sauce needs to be powerful and everything has to gel together ie: the turnips need to be crunchy and pack a punch from the vinegar, onions fresh, pickles perfectly salty, meat seasoned well etc.,..everything so you can really get a taste of heaven in one bite.
This place delivers. Definitely had to try it twice to ensure it wasn't a fluke.
Overall my heart belongs in Ottawa but this place is much closer and very tasty. Perhaps on the third visit it will eclipse my favourite 😅
Definitely give it a try. After all the disappointments I've faced in the GTA with Shawarmas...this place makes up for those years ☺️

Tried their famous Ali-J's which is chicken on the rice with in house sauces. Also had their chicken shawarma wrap. One of the best places I have tried in all of GTA I would say! Way better than other shawarma spots. Underrated but always crowded because people know and value the real taste real quality. Meat was tender soft fresh and juicy! Paid around 30$ after taxes for 2 and it was an excellent deal I would say! Had to wait in the line for about 15 mins which was not too bad but some days its more but I would say its all worth it.

We ordered the family-style meal for 30+ people, from Lezzet Shawarma Falafel House for a retirement lunch, and it was absolutely outstanding! The chicken was tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. The rice was light and fragrant, while the fries were addictive—especially when paired with their incredible house sauces. The shawarma sauce, hot sauce, and tzatziki each brought a unique touch, and together they elevated the meal to another level.
Everything was fresh, generous in portion, and clearly made with care. It was the perfect choice for a special occasion, and everyone left impressed and satisfied. Highly recommend Lezzet Shawarma Falafel House for anyone looking for authentic, delicious food that brings people together!
Been hearing a lot of good things about this place so decided to try them out.. I’m so happy I did the food was delicious! Ordered the Ali J mixed plate with all the sauces and it’s was so gooood perfectly seasoned! Also got the chicken over fries with the same sauces and it was delicious! Don’t be shy to ask for more sauce!! 100x better having more than not enough sauce! Will definitely come back. It gets pretty busy but line goes by quick. Worth the wait
We decided to check out Lezzet after reading really good reviews on social media. When we got there the line was out the door. We had the chicken shawarma and the Ali-J. First things first the portions are really good for the price. The Ali J is where you will get the most bang for your buck. If you enjoy more of a sauce heavy shawarma this is the place for you. Their sauce is actually one of the better ones I have had. Personally, I prefer it to be less saucy that way I can taste the rest of the ingredients. Sometimes the sauce is just overwhelming and that's all you taste. The staff is very friendly and can help you customize the food to your liking.
Repeat: Yes, this time I'll ask for less sauce lol.
