Special, rare diner. I would give 15 stars ๐Ÿ†
Service is best in the city, especially Rebecca.
Food is home made, including fresh cut fries - they are BOMB ๐ŸŸ
Coffee is fresh + unlimited.
Eggs are perfect + high quality.
Best place to catch up with friends or on a date. Feels like what Toronto used to be like.
Cosy booths - everyone has a window.
Note - they wonโ€™t seat you until whole group arrives and no resos.

Great diner experience! We had the supreme grilled cheese and the burger
We got the pancakes too, which were amazing
The food was good, our server was great and the atmosphere is unbeatable, so glad there's an Irish diner in Toronto!
I want to go again to get the curry bag and tey the Irish breakfast with soda bread ๐Ÿž ๐Ÿ˜‹
I'll definitely get the pancakes again!!!

Good traditional breakfast, served with a smile.

Could have done with more maple syrup for the pancakes and not the cheapest, but enjoyed it

We recently visited George Street Diner, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish.

The food was incredible โ€” everything was flavorful, well-portioned, and clearly made with care. The highlight of the meal was the curry poutine, which was honestly the best poutine Iโ€™ve ever had. It was such a unique and special twist on a classic dish, perfectly balanced and packed with flavor. Itโ€™s something Iโ€™d go back for again and again.

The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server, Liz, was extremely friendly, warm, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. She made us feel welcome and added to the overall positive vibe of the place.

Overall, amazing food, amazing service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend โ€” this is definitely a spot weโ€™ll be returning to.

Came for brunch with a friend & it was really busy โ†’ there was a long wait time. Service is quick though & portions are really filling. I enjoyed our meal but i wasnโ€™t too much of a fan of the bacon. Overall food was pretty standard, pancakes were really good, and service was also great.

Cody and relaxed atmosphere with very pleasant staff. A big plate where all the ingredients taste great - certainly a fulfilling meal for most hungry guests.

We surely come back next time in Toronto.

My wife and I we're looking for a diner to have a great burger. We found the perfect little gem! Service was fast and friendly. Food was fantastic! Denny the manager on duty was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good breakfast or lunch place.

Classic diner foodfare. Food was decent, about what youโ€™d expect. It was served quickly after ordering. Very fairly portioned for price. I particularly really loved the pancakes we ordered (got the banana and chocolate) - it had banana and chocolate embedded into the pancakes itself, so even without syrup each bite was tasty.

The best of this diner was the staff and ambiance. Itโ€™s a small space, but seating itself wasnโ€™t too uncomfortable. Staff was friendly and the restaurant felt homely. The day we went they had a great playlist on, and the staff was jamming out here and there - such a vibe!

Overall, would come back!

One of my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Toronto!

Their food is simple but tastes super duper delicious. The Irish soda bread is unique, tastes great and nice texture. Love to come here, makes me feel like home. Don't forget to try fresh squeezed orange juice! Lovely ๐Ÿฅฐ

All the staff are amazing and friendly.

They might have a line up on the weekend but trust me, it's worth it!

Delicious!

Love the look of this diner, the food was great, the coffee was awesome, and our waitress was fun!

Every seat has a great view of the entire diner and the busy street outside.

The old school look is too cool and the food matched the ambiance. Good down to earth food with good portions.

We love hearing about the history of the owner. The Irish and Jewish inspired dishes were unexpected but truly enjoyed!! We had the Club Sandwich, the Challah bread was awesome tasting!

Really enjoyed my brunch at the George Street Diner. The atmosphere is great, an old fashioned diner. I had the Ultimate Irish Breakfast, itโ€™s filling! The Irish Soda Bread? So-delicious!! Really dense, but great for sopping up my over easy eggs, the yolks were a bright yellow, so great! The bacon was great, but it was โ€œrashionedโ€, give another slice! The he sausage link were good, not great. The beans were tasty and the seared tomato was a nice touch. Friendly service, maybe not the quickest, but solid overall.

Long line up but food is so worth! I love this atmosphere too because itโ€™s giving old school diner.

The Irish breakfasts is a must get - itโ€™s comfort food and they load up your plate.
