They kept changing waiter and I was a bit confused. We ordered 5 different plates and the waiter had to come back to ask us because he didn’t remember. The food isn’t worth the price but it’s still good.

We celebrate the birthday at the Aera. Its a very beautiful place with the killer views. This place feels as a high end place from the entrance.Very cool vibe, attentive and welcoming staff. Our server was Kazi and he explained how to select the steaks, would would go with it and was not pushy or insisting.Great job there. The food at the Aera is out of this world. Its just melting in your mouth.I would highly recommend creamy spinach. And drinks! If you’re looking for a great spot don’t hesitate and do it.

Second visit, first visit in 2024
The service, the vibe, the music, the view and even more so, the food was delicious. They have it right. Look forward to the rooftop opening.

Came here on a Sunday for a brunch party. The party itself was amazing. Great time. However the food it’s left to be desired. Nothing really stood out. Was displayed nicely definitely Instagram worthy. It’s just sad that nothing made me crave it to come back.

The client service is great though honestly everyone there is accommodating nice and overall helped to make the experience a great time. Most likely will come back for another brunch party.

Situated at the top of the Well, Aera offers a commanding view of Toronto through the endless number of windows. The restaurant itself is well decorated and almost every seat is designed for maximum viewing pleasure. Oddly, we chose to sit in the elevated middle "podium" in the middle of the restaurant away from the windows. That vantage point offered us the pleasure of seeing the restaurant as a whole including the open kitchen.

The service was excellent. The wait staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. Five stars.

The cocktails were delicately and intricately prepared. They were a pleasure to consume.

The food, while very well prepared, was not uniformly spectacular. Most of the dishes were of high quality, but there were some misses. The yard stick I used to judge this restaurant is admittedly elastic. If a mom and pop restaurant served us the same food, I would have enthusiastically endorsed the restaurant with a five-star rating. However, at the price point of this restaurant, the food has to be truly spectacular to earn five stars.

The sashimi was very good. Fresh and well put together. The dumplings were savoury but not memorable. The truffle fries were a guilty pleasure. The tuna steak was excellent and I particularly liked the wrapped cabbage side dish. I found it to be intriguing both in taste and texture.

Unfortunately, the stuffed chicken was dry even though it was well seasoned. The ceviche was a little disappointing for its lack of acidic punch. The ceviche tasted more like a wetter version of sashimi.

The three desserts we ordered were pleasing, with the toffee being the stand out. The staff was super accommodating in preparing our hit beverages that evening.

It was a very enjoyable evening made possible by a superb wait staff. I will bring clients to this restaurant any time.

I recently visited and had such an amazing experience! I hadn’t seen my friend in ages, so we completely lost track of time catching up and our server was unbelievably patient, attentive, and kind the entire evening. We never once felt rushed, which made the night feel extra special.

The food came out so quickly, the atmosphere was absolutely stunning, and every detail of the space felt warm and elevated. I ordered the rigatonici I believe is what it was called, and it was hands down the best pasta I’ve ever had. It perfectly cooked and full of flavour.

Such a beautiful place to dine. I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend.

Our server Randy gave us some of the best service I’ve experienced at a restaurant and made our night!

We came with my family and honestly all loved it. The portions were bigger than we expected and the specialty cocktails were very well made. My sister and I shared the sablefish and it’s basically a miso cod similar to Kasa Moto it was really good. The rigatoni pasta was amazing. My parents were going to share the sea bream but our waiter let us know that it is only one fish butterfly style and may not be enough for 2 and it was very yummy but my mom got through most of it on her own. It does come with its own side of brussel sprouts which were also very good and makes the portion bigger, but good to note it probably won’t fill 2 people. The ribeye was very good, only comes with a little bit of greens so be sure to get a side if you like pairing the steak with something. We got the potato casserole with it and it was so so good I could’ve ordered another. The apps were also delicious and well sized.

The atmosphere was beautiful even though it was a foggy night we still enjoyed the view. There are a lot of people taking pics and the entrance is a great spot to get some nice pics without having the flash go off near the tables where people are eating.

They don’t validate parking but have a detailed step by step how to find the restaurant guide on Google with pictures which was helpful.

Overall we really enjoyed and will be back to try the brunch

We went for dinner on February 14th and tried their special Valentine’s menu, and overall it was a really nice experience. Even though it was a set menu, there were still a few options to choose from, which we liked. Everything we ordered tasted great, the portions were good, and the quality of the food was definitely there.

The service was very friendly and made us feel welcome the whole time, and the cocktails were also really good. The only small thing we noticed was that the music was a bit loud, and for a special occasion like Valentine’s Day it might have been nicer with something softer or more romantic.

Other than that, everything went smoothly and we had a great time. We’d definitely like to come back and try more dishes.

We visited Aera for Winterlicious, and it was our first time dining there. Overall, it’s a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and excellent staff. The Winterlicious menu was well thought out and delicious, especially for the price point. While the drinks are on the pricier side, they were very good and well thought out. Our server was truly exceptional, attentive, professional, and very respectful of our space. He took great care of us while still allowing us to enjoy our conversation, which we really appreciated. The views are absolutely stunning, with clear, unobstructed sights of the CN Tower and Rogers Centre, definitely a highlight of the experience.
That said, the reservation turnover process left a bit of a sour note. While we completely understand the need to keep to reservation times, the manner in which guests are encouraged to leave felt rushed and slightly uncomfortable, especially when we were already close to finishing. This was not the server’s fault at all, he kindly gave us a heads-up, but the overall approach felt unnecessary given the level of dining and the amount spent. The hosts at the front were polite and accommodating, however, there is a certain way of transitioning guests that can feel more gracious and less transactional. All in all, Aera is a lovely restaurant with great food, incredible views, and outstanding service. A more refined and gentle approach to reservation turnover would truly elevate the overall experience.

This place is truly amazing; the food is absolutely out of this world. They have the best WTF sushi with Wagyu beef; it’s a must-try. It was so good that we ordered it twice. The lobster pasta and beef tenderloin are beyond delicious—the beef literally melts in your mouth. For dessert, we had the molten cake and crème brûlée, both excellent choices. I will definitely be coming back again soon. Would love also to thank them for the good service

The venue isn’t in the mall it’s actually to the left across from the LCBO, take the elevator up. The view is amazing!! The aesthetic of the venue was absolutely gorgeous.
The “Corn bread” 😘chef’ kiss, “exquisite”the salmon was great too but the corn bread was the highlight and for all my coffee lovers the expresso coffee martini is a must try.
The service was timely and superb, shout out to all the servers. All in all my friend and I birthday celebration turned out amazing this restaurant was an amazing choice.

Food was amazing! Service excellent! View top notch. The only reason I didn't give 5/5 is the noise. The music was way too loud...couldn't hear the person next to me. This was NOT a good dinner environment.

Loved this place! The vibe was classy and stylish at the same time and the view was amazing. The seafood was super fresh, and the sushi was honestly the best I’ve had in Toronto so far.
And seriously don’t skip the lobster pasta. It was insanely good.

The server and bartender were so friendly and professional. They answered all my questions and made me feel really comfortable.

Such a great experience. I’ll definitely come back.

We paid the table booking fee for a view at Aera on Oct 2 for my husband’s 60th birthday. A friend from Norway was joining us. The reservation was made almost 6 weeks in advance. Two days before, we received a reminder about our upcoming reservation. We arrived in the lobby and were told that the restaurant was booked for a private event. We went to the 38th floor and were told by Aera’s manager that it was PWC’s fault because PWC had booked the restaurant out “last minute” for a private event. The manager also blamed their Tablz app for not notifying us. No accountability was taken by Aera for not contacting us. The PWC employees mentioned that several other guests had shown up without being advised of their cancelled reservations.

Aera’s manager said that they would take us to one of their ground floor sister restaurants - La Plume (all day dining) or The Dorset (a gastro pub). We were seated at La Plume and offered a complimentary cocktail.

This is the 2nd time that Aera surprised us. In August, my husband had his retirement party there with ten global colleagues. He booked a reservation with Aera’s event planner for drinks at Open Aera and then dinner at Aera. He received a cancellation for Open Aera hours before our reservation and we arrived to staff scrambling to accommodate us indoors. Aera also took no accountability for this.

My husband sent an email to Aera about his disappointment and received no response. We understand the need for event revenue but how we were treated by Aera was not okay.

The views inside and outside is nice. Good atmosphere. Service needs work. You will do a lot of waiting. Waiting to be seated, waiting for food and waiting on any request for bill or other stuff will be a long wait. Food also was not great, some food was surprisingly very cold. I dont recommend more than once. Good to try once, but the price is not worth the experience. Lots of other better restaurants in Toronto. This is not worth the hype.

We had the most incredible experience at Aera thanks to our server Randy. He was thoughtful, considerate, and went above and beyond in every way. From the very beginning, he took the time to plan out our entire evening, making sure each course flowed seamlessly into the next. The way he paired food items and structured the meal showed not only deep knowledge of the menu but also genuine care for creating a memorable dining experience.

Throughout the night, he was attentive without ever being intrusive, always making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with such warmth and dedication. He truly elevated our evening, and we left not only impressed with the food but grateful for the service.

Hands down the best server we’ve ever had — Aera is lucky to have him!

This restaurant is 38 floors into the clouds with an amazing view of the CN Tower. Known for sushi and steak. A cool feature to try was its anime themed cocktails! My friends and I made sure to try those as well as items from there Summerlicious three-course dinner:

Drinks:
🌙Cresent Moon Wand
🐉Dragon-Pop
Food:
🥑Yasai Uramaki Vegetarian Sushi Roll
🥩Steak Tartare
🥗Wedge Salad
🍗Charred Piri Piri Chicken
🐟Broiled Atlantic Salmon
⚪️Spicy Scallop Roll
🐙Broiled Octopus

Overall, some of the food was a hit or miss. Out of the list we tried above, I would recommend the salmon, sushi dishes and wedge salad.

Honestly hand down some of the best experience and food we’ve had at any high end restaurant. Portions were generous and all around delicious. We got the beef tenderloin and the stuffed chicken paired with the buttery mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. Emily was serving us and she was kind and attentive. Would definitely dine here again.
