The venue isn’t in the mall it’s actually to the left across from the LCBO, take the elevator up. The view is amazing!! The aesthetic of the venue was absolutely gorgeous.
The “Corn bread” 😘chef’ kiss, “exquisite”the salmon was great too but the corn bread was the highlight and for all my coffee lovers the expresso coffee martini is a must try.
The service was timely and superb, shout out to all the servers. All in all my friend and I birthday celebration turned out amazing this restaurant was an amazing choice.

Food was amazing! Service excellent! View top notch. The only reason I didn't give 5/5 is the noise. The music was way too loud...couldn't hear the person next to me. This was NOT a good dinner environment.

Loved this place! The vibe was classy and stylish at the same time and the view was amazing. The seafood was super fresh, and the sushi was honestly the best I’ve had in Toronto so far.
And seriously don’t skip the lobster pasta. It was insanely good.

The server and bartender were so friendly and professional. They answered all my questions and made me feel really comfortable.

Such a great experience. I’ll definitely come back.

We paid the table booking fee for a view at Aera on Oct 2 for my husband’s 60th birthday. A friend from Norway was joining us. The reservation was made almost 6 weeks in advance. Two days before, we received a reminder about our upcoming reservation. We arrived in the lobby and were told that the restaurant was booked for a private event. We went to the 38th floor and were told by Aera’s manager that it was PWC’s fault because PWC had booked the restaurant out “last minute” for a private event. The manager also blamed their Tablz app for not notifying us. No accountability was taken by Aera for not contacting us. The PWC employees mentioned that several other guests had shown up without being advised of their cancelled reservations.

Aera’s manager said that they would take us to one of their ground floor sister restaurants - La Plume (all day dining) or The Dorset (a gastro pub). We were seated at La Plume and offered a complimentary cocktail.

This is the 2nd time that Aera surprised us. In August, my husband had his retirement party there with ten global colleagues. He booked a reservation with Aera’s event planner for drinks at Open Aera and then dinner at Aera. He received a cancellation for Open Aera hours before our reservation and we arrived to staff scrambling to accommodate us indoors. Aera also took no accountability for this.

My husband sent an email to Aera about his disappointment and received no response. We understand the need for event revenue but how we were treated by Aera was not okay.

The views inside and outside is nice. Good atmosphere. Service needs work. You will do a lot of waiting. Waiting to be seated, waiting for food and waiting on any request for bill or other stuff will be a long wait. Food also was not great, some food was surprisingly very cold. I dont recommend more than once. Good to try once, but the price is not worth the experience. Lots of other better restaurants in Toronto. This is not worth the hype.

We had the most incredible experience at Aera thanks to our server Randy. He was thoughtful, considerate, and went above and beyond in every way. From the very beginning, he took the time to plan out our entire evening, making sure each course flowed seamlessly into the next. The way he paired food items and structured the meal showed not only deep knowledge of the menu but also genuine care for creating a memorable dining experience.

Throughout the night, he was attentive without ever being intrusive, always making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with such warmth and dedication. He truly elevated our evening, and we left not only impressed with the food but grateful for the service.

Hands down the best server we’ve ever had — Aera is lucky to have him!

This restaurant is 38 floors into the clouds with an amazing view of the CN Tower. Known for sushi and steak. A cool feature to try was its anime themed cocktails! My friends and I made sure to try those as well as items from there Summerlicious three-course dinner:

Drinks:
🌙Cresent Moon Wand
🐉Dragon-Pop
Food:
🥑Yasai Uramaki Vegetarian Sushi Roll
🥩Steak Tartare
🥗Wedge Salad
🍗Charred Piri Piri Chicken
🐟Broiled Atlantic Salmon
⚪️Spicy Scallop Roll
🐙Broiled Octopus

Overall, some of the food was a hit or miss. Out of the list we tried above, I would recommend the salmon, sushi dishes and wedge salad.

Honestly hand down some of the best experience and food we’ve had at any high end restaurant. Portions were generous and all around delicious. We got the beef tenderloin and the stuffed chicken paired with the buttery mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. Emily was serving us and she was kind and attentive. Would definitely dine here again.

Aera is located on the 38th floor of The Well where you can enjoy 360 degree panoramic views of the city along with your dinner or round of drinks. Opening hours are 4pm to 10pm (Sun to Thurs) and 4pm to 1am (Fri & Sat). Met friends here recently and enjoyed a round of cocktails in the evening. Drinks were nicely mixed, service friendly, prices reasonable for the venue and views. Would be happy to visit Aera again based on this experience.

Came here for after dinner drinks. Bartender was great with giving recommendations. Also ordered dessert here. I think this place offers the best views of the CN Tower. Enjoyed the DJ playing music and the vibes and aesthetic were nice.

Had the lamb chops they were perfectly seasoned and cooked the right temp (medium) but speaking of temps they were a little not hot like maybe the cook finished them first and set them to the side not under a light to ensure the right temp. The brussels sprouts were fantastic. She had the lobster spaghetti and enjoyed it immensely. She noted the pasta tasted freshly home made. For dessert we settled on The crème brûlée tart, which was soooo good.

The atmosphere is trendy, amazing views of the whole city. They offer rooftop bottle service but we did not partake. But with that comes a lot of chatter on top of music. The cherry on it all was our server, Alex, who exceeded all expectations. Alex could be our new best friend, above and beyond—thank you. This dinner could not have been more perfect save for warmer lamb chops lol.

I’ve been to Aera a number of times, and the service is consistently pretty good. The atmosphere is truly astonishing — such a great vibe to relax and enjoy a meal. The view is also quite nice, especially if you're seated by the windows.

There’s usually some great food on the menu, and today was no exception — everything I tried was very tasty. My absolute favorite is the cornbread. I get it every time I visit — usually two orders because it’s just that good! I also tend to go for the steak and lamb chops. They're generally well-prepared, but I did visit about two weeks ago and found the lamb chops to be way too salty, which was a bit disappointing.

Still, overall, Aera is a solid spot with a beautiful setting, good service, and dishes that hit the mark more often than not. I’ll definitely keep going back!

The view was stunning, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. Service was better than expected (based on other reviews) —likely helped by the fact that we went earlier in the evening when it was less crowded.

As for the food – The whole seabream was decent and the side carrots were surprisingly delicious and outshone the Brussels sprouts. We also ordered the yellowtail ceviche, which was decent in flavor but we felt the portion was quite small for the price. We also tried the Amelia and Cosmopolitan cocktails, both enjoyable if you prefer sweeter drinks.

This is a lovely restaurant but I have a small quibble: the sommelier was pleasant and approachable but when we ordered a second bottle of the same wine she just opened it and poured it into the glasses that had the remains of the first bottle. Not even one new glass and a taste of the second bottle.
I didn’t say anything because we were hosting business colleagues. However, I find it hard to believe that a trained sommelier would do that.

Great view, average experience.

I celebrated my birthday here, and I have to say the best part of this place is definitely the stunning city view and the beautiful design. It's visually impressive and perfect for taking nice photos.

As for the food, it was just okay. Nothing particularly memorable, but not bad either. The service was also pretty average—not rude, but definitely not warm or attentive.

Overall, it's the kind of spot you go to for the vibe and the view, not necessarily for an exceptional meal. Worth visiting if you're looking for a scenic place to enjoy a regular meal with a wow-worthy backdrop.

I made reservations for my Wife's birthday over a week prior to May 11 2025 - I arranged a South Exposure window seat which they assured me they had booked. They told me if I had any special requests i.e. specific seating to rebook the reservation directly in the Aera Restaurant website.

When I went to make this change their website was having technical difficulties. The Host insisted they would look after the special seating request direct because of their technical difficulties.

When I arrived they attempted to seat us in another part of the restaurant not of interest to us without honoring their commitment to the South Exposure window seat they assured us they had reserved for us for this special event.

The communication among their staff is terrible and they tried to convince me that I didn't follow procedure in securing this special seating request.

My wife and I walked and promise to never come back to this very unprofessional and ignorant facility.

Terrible accommodations terrible management.

I wouldn't even think to returning.

Ignorant is the only word that comes to mind

Terrible Experience

I had an amazing experience at Aera! The atmosphere was modern and classy, perfect for both a casual meal and a special occasion. The fried chicken was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — easily one of the best I've had. The side dishes complemented the main course really well, and the presentation was on point.

The drinks were equally impressive! I tried the Water Wheel cocktail — refreshing with a hint of sweetness from the strawberry and matcha, a perfect match for the meal.

The service was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for delicious food, great drinks, and a cozy yet vibrant vibe!

The view is fantastic—definitely worth paying a little extra for a window seat. I recommend going around sunset for the best photos, as earlier in the day the lighting can be too harsh and overexposed.

As for the food, the lamb chops, cornbread, and salad were excellent. The sirloin had good flavor but was unfortunately overcooked to a medium, even though I requested medium rare.

Service was a bit slow at times, but not to the point of being frustrating.

Overall, I’d still recommend this place for the experience.

Aera offers an incredible dining experience with stunning city views and a sleek, modern ambiance. The food is thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Perfect for a special night out in Toronto. I’d also like to add that they do have Halal menu options here as well!

It's all about the view. Simply amazing. The service is good. The steaks while overpriced, were cooked well and tasted good. The mashed potatoes were simply ok. A place like this should up its game with this. Maybe a Truffle mashed. My mojito could have been better. But it was a great evening.

Dining at Aera Toronto is truly an unmatched experience, it’s not just about the food, but the entire atmosphere. From the moment you step in, the breathtaking view of the city skyline sets the tone for an elevated evening. The vibe is modern, chic, and effortlessly romantic, making it perfect for couples or small friend groups looking for a luxurious yet intimate dining experience.

I ordered the Maritime Lobster Pasta, and not only was the portion generous, but the flavors were rich, fresh, and absolutely satisfying—so much so that just by looking at it, my friend was convinced to order the same. My sister went for the Sunday Dinner, and I instantly wished I had too, it was incredibly flavorful and comforting and the Mushroom Tart that came with it was literally to die for.

Everything about Aera makes you want to come back—the ambiance, service, and next-level flavors. We’re already looking forward to trying more from the menu. If you’re looking for an unforgettable night out in Toronto, Aera is a must-visit!

This was my birthday dinner. Service was slow. Nobody came to take our drink order for 15 minutes. Once we ordered our appetizers they came right away. The corn bread was delicious, the burrata salad was average. We ordered our mains. My husband got his pork chop, delicious but small, right away. My order came but it was the wrong thing. They put in the correct order but brought me the same wrong order. By that time my husband finished his meal. So I cancelled mine. Why ask if you’re celebrating something special if no one cares. Disappointing
