Wow! What a let down. Not only did we pay upwards of $50 for two measly sandwiches and a small side potato salad, but there’s also no where to sit and eat. The portions are very small for the price. The pastrami was fine - nothing life changing but definitely not justifiable for the price. It could use some more mustard and kick.

Save yourself the money and buy the Schwartz vacuum sealed smoked meat and make your own at home. It’s $16 and enough for 4 portions. Don’t let yourself be influenced an Instagram reel showcasing a rip off in a trendy neighbourhood.

The pastrami is perfection, in good rye with just the right slathering of mustard. I am so excited to have such good pastrami nearby. But as good is the latke and pickle sandwich and the knish with gravy.

The pastrami was incredibly moist and flavorful — easily some of the best I’ve ever had. The sandwich was generously packed with tender chunks and slices, and the perfectly caramelized fat will melt im your mouth. I do wish it were a bit larger for the price, or that the bread were a bit sturdier, as it softened quickly from the juicy meat. Still, the quality is top notch and in that sense correlates with the price. I also recently tried the smoked turkey sandwich, it was good but I wasn’t blown away by any means, I would pay $20 for it again, but I’d go back for the pastrami

Just had a turkey sandwich from here and it was packed! The turkey was really good and the sauces were perfect, even my cat wanted a bite. I grabbed a chocolate chip cookie too and it was thick and soft. So good!

My friend and I got the pastrami and turkey sandwiches. The pastrami was so bomb!! Super messy to eat but the flavour is amazing. The turkey is also pretty good, but I wouldn’t fiend for it. NOTE: Their sandwiches are generally quite small, so it’s on the pricey side. I also wish it came with pickles, not sure why they have to be separate for purchase. In general, I’d definitely recommend trying Linny’s out, but there are definitely just as amazing pastrami sandwiches around that are bigger and cheaper.

This was a damn good bite! The pastrami was smoked and spiced to perfection and the potato salad was creamy and crunchy. The price point is a bit high for such a small sandwich but it was sooo good.

Loved linny’s restaurant so this luncheonette would’ve definitely slapped. And it did! Would highly recommend the pastrami sandwich. Super simple sandwich with mustard in between slices of soft bread slices (possibly sourdough) - 9/10. Out of curiosity we also got the fish sandwich which was 7/10. It had a little less flavour but was a nice and fresh compliment to the pastrami sandwich. They also hand out bazooka gum - so nostalgic!! Good vibes all around and they have cute merchandise. We got a red linny’s cap❤️.

I stopped by to sample the pastrami sandwich on a rainy day. It was not disappointing - perfectly seasoned and smoked, tender and handsomely stacked between warm rye. Went down perfectly with Cott’s black cherry cola and a pickle. Staff were friendly and efficient. The decor creates intentionally retro vibe with wood paneling and vintage menu board.

This place will be Toronto’s answer to Schwartz’s deli in Montreal, even more so than Sumilicious in Scarborough. It’s a must-try for authentic Jewish deli lovers.

Note: this is a takeout only joint and for lunch only. there is no seating inside. Weather permitting, there are three patio tables outside on sidewalk.

The pastrami sandwich was great! Very hefty, meat was juicy and tender. Wish they could’ve added a tad more mustard to cut the fat a lil more.

The smoked fish (sea bass) sandwich was also quite nice, it had some fresh veggies to balance out the fish. Unfortunately, I did get a small fish bone my sandwich. Other than that, the flavors were good.

We have a winner 🏆.

Came by on the soft opening and tried the pastrami sandwich 🥪, which was amazing. Great portion of meat (1/3 pound) between two pieces of bread. I think the bread could be a little bigger to hold the meat better but that's a minor thing.

Meat is moist and full of flavour. Great mustard and nothing to fancy. I want to come back and try the potato and coleslaw. Plus maybe the chocolate chip cookie.

This place is going to have line ups once word gets out about this spot.
