We tried three different items - jersey chicken (of course), fried chicken and of course the stuffed oxtail patty.
It was AMAZING. From the coleslaw to the most tender fall off chicken and oxtail down to perfectly cooked and flavorful rice, each one was amazing. Probably the best jerk for sure. The portions were large and stuffed in thr box. Highly recommend.
We also got some extra hot sauce for the rice since we like spicy.

Highly recommend.

Stacy’s Island Flavour is a hidden gem for authentic Jamaican food. We ordered the jerk chicken and the oxtail fries, and both were absolutely delicious. The jerk chicken was flavourful with just the right amount of heat, and the oxtail fries were rich, tender, and packed with bold island flavours.

It’s a small spot, but don’t let the size fool you, the place is constantly busy with steady traffic coming through the doors, which says a lot about how good the food is. The Jamaican patties are clearly a crowd favourite and very popular, making them a must-try on your visit.

If you’re craving real Jamaican comfort food with big flavour, Stacy’s Island Flavour is definitely worth stopping by.

the prices are insanely affordable for the filling portions and fresh food !

the stuffed oxtail patty — a thick, sweet coco bun and soft, buttery pastry heaped with tender, gelatinous, tendon-y oxtail with heavy flavours and a bit of crunchy mild slaw (although there could’ve been more) — is what they’re famous for, and it was quite good, but i thought the jerk poutine was better and more flavourful. the fries were the perfect kind — slightly crispy and greasy, and seasoned PERFECTLY (kind of like costco fries). the chicken was chopped up into moist, juicy shreds and soaked with a gravy that was more watery and less thick than usual, but still had great flavour. it was a bit spicy, and there was cheese melting onto the fries from the steam.

the festivals were also outstanding ! they were super duper fresh, like they were steaming and fluffy when you pulled them apart, and the dough was slightly sweet with a barely noticeable amount of oiliness.

Went on a Monday. Got the oxtail stuffed patty and jerk chicken lunch special. They’re not kidding when they say the patty is STUFFED. Not only that it is stuffed with juicy oxtail pieces it taste good too goes well together with the patty and coco bread. Jerk chicken was also good. Nice flavour, rice and peas were nice, coleslaw was creamy. Overall I spent $26 on these two items and I am happy. Will come again for sure!

Omg super excited. Stacey's was originally in Markham and we missed her when she moved. I made my hubby take a special trip down to Scarborough when I found out she had relocated to Scarborough.

I was so pleased it was the same restaurant and Stacey was still running the restaurant.

It is a light small place. They also do catering. They offer top notch Jamacian food. They offer a wide variety of Jamaican food from jerk chicken, ox tail to ackee and salt fish.

The food tastes amazing, and there is so much variety. The portions are generous and the staff are very helpful. It was so sweet ad Stacey talks to you like you are friends. While I was there another customer was introducing Stacey to his visiting Grandmother. So sweet.

Stacey has also expanded her menu with a few new items such as her oxtail stuffed patties and her mac and cheese.

If you have not tried Stacey's I recommend you give it a try as you will definitely enjoy the food.

Markham mommies if you remember Stacey's you gotta make the trip to Scarborough.

Had their ox tail stuffed patty and it was solid, though nothing extraordinary (tastes exactly how you'd expect). Really liked their drink selections tho, the beet juice caught me by surprise cause it tasted more like a milk shake.

Pretty tight inside space wise especially when they get busy, so better do takeout.

Food
This place truly fits the definition of a hidden gem. An unexpected find with absolutely incredible food. I tried the BBQ chicken, jerk chicken, and oxtail patty. The standout was the oxtail patty, which was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The praise this place gets is definitely well deserved.

Service
The staff were fast, friendly, and professional. I visited during the rush, and the energy was intense but well managed. They kept things moving smoothly despite the crowd.

Ambiance
Getting there was a bit of a challenge. I drove through gridlock traffic, and the location is slightly out of the way and not the easiest to reach. That said, it was worth the effort.

First I want to say awesome customer service! Quick wait time and clean establishment (gloves worn).
Stuffed oxtail patty is very good I don’t like coleslaw but this was very elite! Fried chicken on Fridays 🔥🔥 reminds me of a better KFC. Mango nectar drink was very good as well.

Went during their anniversary celebration and the vibe was amazing — DJ setup right at the front, music going, and the energy was so good! It was my first time ordering and I tried the curry goat and oxtail. Hands down, the best I’ve had so far. The meat was tender and packed with flavor — and actually more meat than bones, unlike a lot of other places. The rice was cooked perfectly, and even the coleslaw stood out — sweet, fresh, and flavorful. Can’t wait to come back!

Tried their oxtail stuffed patty and my girlfriend got a regular patty with coco bread. Both were delicious! Wait times for food are a bit on the longer side, but the wait is worth it. Food here is prepped with care and quality in mind. My picture of the oxtail patty may be unassuming, but wait until you flip the top up - an overflow of delicious oxtail and coleslaw! It lived up to its viral hype. I recommend this shop to everyone looking for some top notch Caribbean eats.

Came for the first time and I tried the popular oxtail stuffed patty. I liked it however it can be pretty messy to eat and was a bit fatty for me. Filling was generous and flavour was good. Staff was also friendly and nice. There were also a few seats and tables inside for those who wanted to eat in.
