XO Bisous is located at 572 St Clair Ave W in Toronto , ON and serves great food and drinks in Toronto
I had the cheddar and caramelised onion scone and a drip coffee. Both were divine! Scone was a nice texture and authentic flavour. Buttery and light on the inside, with a crunchy exterior. The coffee was just the right intensity. Very cozy atmosphere, and friendly attentive staff. I will definitely be back soon!

With this scone, a quick toast in the oven resurrects the robust caramel sweetness and mouthwatering texture - crisp exterior, moist and fluffy inside - and just the right amount of salt to balance the palate. Maybe it was the weather or the phase of the moon, but it wasn’t a lucky day to be a vegan.
I want to acknowledge that changing my order after it was placed was my mistake, and I fully accept that. I was prepared to pay the price difference.
What upset me was how the situation was handled afterward. I was told I was only paying the price difference, but when the amount seemed unusually high and I calmly asked to confirm, I was repeatedly told it was correct. Only after I showed my card transaction did the staff suddenly change their explanation and admit that a full charge had been made.
At that point, there was no apology or proper explanation. The correction was done abruptly, and I was given coins as a refund without any courtesy. Even then, the change was calculated incorrectly. The interaction felt rushed and dismissive, as if the message was simply “take this and go,” rather than treating me like a customer raising a reasonable concern.
This is not about the money. It is about the lack of accountability, inconsistent communication, and the attitude shown when the mistake was pointed out. That is why the experience left such a bad impression.
We’ve been using XO Bisous for years! Their communication is excellent. The food quality is always top notch. And they make everything so easy. We purchased catered dinners for holidays - delicious and easy to prepare. We also bring up many frozen baked goods for cottage guests. Honestly, THE best cinnamon rolls in the city!
✨ Warm, charming, and unmistakably made with love — XO Bisous is the kind of café that feels like it’s always been part of your weekend ritual, even if it’s your first time through the door.
We stopped by for brunch and found ourselves wrapped in the kind of comfort only a French-inspired café can offer. The Vegan Veggie on Focaccia was a standout — layers of roasted eggplant, charred tomato, and zucchini tucked into pillowy focaccia, brightened with a punchy pesto. (The non-vegan option comes with goat cheese, if you’re craving a little creamy richness).
The Pizza Bun was the kind of snack you’d sneak from the kitchen as a kid — soft, saucy, just the right amount of indulgent. And the Eggs Benny? Perfectly poached, filling, with a hollandaise so silky it could’ve passed for Paris, along with a green salad that tempted the veggie-lover in me.
We couldn’t leave without dessert. The chocolate and cherry-flavoured shortbread was buttery and tender, with a delicate crumb that practically melted on the tongue, making it a perfect sweet finish to our meal.

I thought it was just a bakery but I was happy to discover they serve brunch. (I love brunch) And they didn't disappoint. The Benny was good but the lox and latkes was amazing. Will definitely go back and not share that plate with my partner. (Because she'll get her own)
My only request would be for shade structures on the patio but it was by no means a deal breaker
I loved this cafe. It’s so cute and I came here after checking reviews and it did not disappoint. Not only is it cute to go on a date with or hang with you friends the coffees and the desserts are just mind blowing. I loved the raspberry latte and the apple walnut cake. Pamela was an awesome host. She was so bubbly and she made the best coffee that wasn’t too sweet and full of flavour.
This place is adorable and I love that the owner is there frequently showing her love for her business. The pastries as so delicious and the pain au chocolat is tasty. The egg frittatas are not so good as they were very rubbery and tasteless. I do go often for the steamers and the croissants.
I recently recommended a pastry shop I had been collecting to my friends, and we made a special trip to visit it today. Unfortunately, the food left me disappointed. The photo on the left shows what I had during my first visit—the focaccia’s texture was perfect, soft yet firm. Incredibly, today (as shown in the photo on the right), it felt like it had been reheated multiple times, resulting in an overly hard texture. The difference is visibly obvious.
When I brought this up to the staff, they did replace it for us, but it turned out to be exactly the same. I also took a closer look at the products through the display case, and the sides of the focaccia clearly looked dry. Overall, today’s food experience was extremely disappointing.
Today I accidentally bumped into this little place, just because Starbucks was closed. And they even have better coffee then previously mentioned...
Apart from coffee there is great sour dough bread delivered from Kensington but only on weekends; there are wonderful pastries - try brownies; muffins; panini sandwiches; other snacks and beverages..
Place is beautifully decorated, you can sit on nice white leather sofa and enjoy your food or drink. And it is spotless clean.
Service beyond excellence...
Don’t miss it if in the neighbourhood!😉
Ended up here by accident. I was looking for a cafe to do a couple hours of work. Everything here is made in house. Very tempting! I had a coffee and frittata. I really appreciate a place I can grab a frittata. The owners are pleasant and put care into their business. The customers who came in seemed like regulars. I'll be back for those pastries!
This place opened up close to Church and Adelaide in early Jan and focuses on breakfast and lunch and is open Mon-Sat. This place is fairly cosy inside - really nicely presented. The focus is clearly on delivering simple french style bakery/cafe type foods, using only the highest quality ingredients. For breakfast they have a selection of sandwiches, yoghurt parfaits, frittatas and other items. For lunch they have a selection of sandwiches and salads. Their in-house made pastries and cakes looked amazing.
We were there for breakfast one morning and tried one of their breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheddar, ham and spinach. It was excellent, tasted fresh and had some crazy good butter in there. We didn't try their coffee, but the beans are brought in fresh from a local roaster I believe. Prices are decent considering the quality being delivered.
I look forward to stopping by again in the near future to try some of their other offerings. It is a nice independent addition to the neighbourhood. Highly recommended.
