My friends and I sat at the bar lastnight and tried the tasting menu and it was phenomenal and so much food that we were able to pack some of it up for leftovers. The service was amazing and everyone was friendly and approachable. The buildout of the space is so unique, cozy and well done.

My fiancé and I went to Linny’s to celebrate his 40th birthday. Everything we ordered was amazing. Meat is high quality; sourced locally in Ontario which we love. The bread is AMAZING! We initially did not order, but when we looked around the restaurant, every table had it so we had to get one to try. To say the least, it did not disappoint. Definitely will be going back!!!

Hands down one the best dining experiences I’ve had in Toronto in a very long time.

After a busy holiday season visiting family and friends in Toronto, my flight was delayed 6 hours so I decided to make the most of my time and treat myself with a last minute solo reservation at Linny’s.

I decided on the tasting menu which was the perfect option to taste just about everything that Linny’s had to offer. Blaze, the Aussie bartender, was the perfect host. Between his knowledge of the menu, pairings, and great banter, I had a such a great time. Each dish was perfectly delicious — the challah plate, pickles, pastrami, steak, literally everything was amazing. The tasting menu is a bit much for just one person so I took things to go and was able to enjoy everything all over again the next morning before my flight (thanks Air Canada!)

Another shout out to Blaze for taking the time to explain the best way to reheat and enjoy everything I was taking home with me.

All in all 111/10, highly recommend with no hesitation. If you’re looking to dine out for a special occasion or treat yourself just because, Linny’s is your spot.

I’m looking forward to my next visit to Toronto and will 110% make a purposeful stop at Linny’s while I’m there.

Wow. I haven’t been impressed like this in a long time! We had the tasting menu, where you get a sampling of their popular menu items. We really liked all the dishes and so much food. We will definitely be back. Our server was also very good. We were going to try the Sunday prime rib meal but he suggested the tasting menu and it was a great suggestion.

Came here for dinner and sat at the bar. Service was exceptional. Started with the Dally Dilly mocktail, which tasted like pickle juice but sweet. As starters, got the Chicken Liver Toast - probably the best dish of the night. Very large with so much pate, had sweetness from the onions and egg garnish. Also had the salmon with cream cheese and latkas, which was fun to eat. The salmon pieces were thick and didn’t have a fishy taste. For mains got the pastrami - so fatty and the meat just melted, unlike sandwich pastrami - a must get! Also got the tripe schnitzel - which tasted more like a Japanese pork cutlet. The fried outer layer was quite thick with alot of panko and the gravy was too much. The tripe (when you could taste it) was nice and chewy but overall, wasn’t what I expected. Had a side of the fried eggplants and everything bagel sauce which were delicious but couldn’t finish it because they were sweet, heavy and didn’t balance with the other dishes. All dishes were quite rich and wished the waiter gave recommendations/feedback on what we ordered. Ended off with chocolate babka with ice cream. Devoured it.
Would come again to try other dishes and hopefully not feel too full after 1-2.

Had an absolutely spectacular dining experience at Linny’s; everything from start to finish was exceptional, and I genuinely can’t wait to go back again.

To start off, I tried the Caesar salad and prawns, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin the evening. For the main course, I went with the bone-in tenderloin, accompanied by a side of pastrami (because why not?) and both were perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. The pickles and fries made for great side additions that tied the meal together beautifully.

Linny’s also boasts a solid wine list, offering plenty of great pairings for their dishes. The service was flawless and attentive without being intrusive and every member of the staff contributed to an overall seamless experience.

To top it all off, the vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant are simply cool, a perfect mix of classy and relaxed that makes you want to linger a little longer.

In short, Linny’s delivers on every front: food, service, and ambiance. A true gem that I’ll definitely be returning to soon.

We weren’t expecting this :) In two words, EXCEPTIONAL & ACCOMMODATING ! From our warm greeting at the front we enjoyed the bar scene for our dinner and were very well taken care of by Anaya. She was both informative and knowledgeable and very pleasant. The beverage & food pictures tell only some of the story. It’s a wonderful addition to the Toronto food/restaurant scene. DELICIOUS, SCRUMPTIOUS are two words that best describe our dining experience. A great vibe to the restaurant. Definitely a MUST to check out.

Linny’s is absolutely outstanding. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, and the staff make you feel genuinely cared for. Every dish we tried was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and memorable, it’s clear that a lot of thought goes into both the ingredients and presentation. Compared to their other sister restaurants Sunnys/MiMi’s, Linny’s definitely stood out. This is the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again. Easily a 5/5!

Well deserved 5 stars! Excellent service starting with the hostess Natalia who checked all the boxes from being warm and welcoming to attentive in getting our drinks order and getting us seated at a lovely table. Bar staff and our server also delivered a seamless experience.

In terms of food we ordered the porterhouse medium and it was tender and good quality. The pastrami as well was super delicious and flavorful! There was a baby chicken fried as well which was delicious. Not a fan of the Caesar salad though as it was a bit too high on the dressing.

Atmosphere was chic and vibey with a trendy crowd. I highly recommend reservations as every table was spoken for. Ill definitely be back this is one of those spots you can make your go-to because it delivers an experience that can be consistent and staff our super warm and friendly.

Linny’s restaurant was everything I wanted it to be. A masterclass in hospitality, ambiance, and of course, excellent food. An elevated tribute to the golden era of the Jewish style steakhouse that I long for. David Schwartz has done it again.

Highlights included karnatzel, chicken liver toast (conveniently pre-cut for you, details), Ora king salmon with dill sour cream and latkes, the bone in New York steak was perfect, pickles, house salami with spicy mustard, and the Linny’s cut pastrami - no words, it must be experienced to understand. Dessert didn’t disappoint either the standout hit was the warm chocolate babka with vanilla ice cream, oy vey, what a meal, what a night. The cocktails, the coffee negroni, the cutlery, plates, glassware, the banquets, the room, perfect.

Our server Roy was so on point. A real mensch with a great sense of humour. In fact, everyone that we interacted with or that touched our table throughout the night was so kind and accommodating. Really looking forward to my next visit.

Was excited to try this spot since it’s run by the same team as MIMI and Sunny’s so expectations were high. Interior’s gorgeous, and service was great right from the start. Challah was soft and fluffy, the cheese + jam spread was nice and light. Pickles weren’t super crunchy but it was still a solid starter.

Loved the salmon—super flaky and light, paired really well with the cream cheese and latkes. Lamb neck was rich and tender, no gaminess, though the big bone makes it look bigger than it is. Pastrami was also great. It was soft, juicy, and well-seasoned, just a bit small for the price. Chicken had good texture, sauces were fun (fermented honey and hot sauce), but it didn’t stand out as much compared to the other dishes.

Drinks were solid. BMP was tart and light, not too spirit-forward. Strawberry sbagliato was nice if you’re into wine-y spritzes.

Food was delicious, service was top notch. Every dish was so good. Pastrami came with some leaner and some fattier pieces, perfect balance. First time having tripe prepared as a schnitzel and it was fried perfectly. Challah with the fresh cheese and jam was great.

10/10 meal & experience. Went to celebrate a birthday and the entire night was fantastic. We sat at the bar, bar seats were comfy and had back support (we love). Bartender was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Martini was ice cold and perfect. We ordered the set menu which gave us a chance to try a bunch of dishes. All of them were great, shout out to the challah, fluke, chicken liver toast, Romanian steak (pastrami butter!!) and the babka. Servers were very professional and attentive. Cant wait to go back!

Great experience, both food and people watching. Started with the chicken liver on toast, which is a pate for those turned off by the name. It was probably my favorite dish, the crispy onions on top made it truly special with many different flavors, great taste and a fantastic finish. A close second was the asparagus side, lade with bresola and a hollandaise esque sauce. Everything came together quite well and it was a plate licker. I also enjoyed the pastrami, very tender with a nice taste but I don't know if I'd call it my favorite pastrami ever. Will definitely return.

5⭐️ from beginning to end. All staff are 100% service oriented and professionally trained. Feel free to ask for any suggestions and be confident that you won't be lead astray. For me, the menu seemed somewhat eclectic and confusing but it all worked. There weren't an overwhelming amount of items to choices which was nice. Whatever you order you know a lot of thought and preparation has gotten into it. At least, that's how I felt.
Challah service and fluke & fennel apps were awesome and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Honestly, the best steaks I've had in the city.

This was a restaurant I’d been wanting to visit since last year , and it didn’t disappoint.
From the exterior, atmosphere, and interior design, everything felt just right.
The servers were all friendly, gave great explanations, and I really appreciated how they kept our table tidy throughout the meal.
Most importantly, the food was absolutely fantastic.
We had the tasting menu, which was $125 per person, and every single dish was delicious.
Huge thanks to the amazing Linny’s team for making the experience even better!
