Prime Seafood Palace
Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and amazing staff. The service is truly top-notch: the menu is explained very well, plates are cleared quickly, and the team is attentive without being intrusive. The cocktails were excellent and very well balanced, and our table location was perfect.
The menu is small, but every dish feels carefully crafted and executed with precision. Portions were actually quite generous, which is not always the case at restaurants in this price range.
The 12 oz prime rib came as two thick slices served with bordelaise sauce. The sauce was good, though maybe not the absolute best pairing for the meat. The lobster spaghetti was very good as well, but perhaps missing a little extra je ne sais quoi to make it truly memorable. The Hokkaido scallops were outstanding — perfectly cooked and literally melting in the mouth.
The only downside was that the food took a little while to arrive, and the prices are definitely on the very high side. Is it worth it? I’m not completely sure.
Overall though, it was a great experience and a very enjoyable evening.

I don’t usually write long Google reviews, but I had to share my experience from last night. As someone who works in events and has been fortunate to enjoy many different dining experiences over the years, I can honestly say this was the most special dining experience of my life thus far. When I made my reservation, I didn’t mention that it was my birthday. I felt a little shy about taking myself out for a solo celebration. When I arrived, I was greeted with such warm and genuine energy. I was asked if I was celebrating anything, and I quietly shared that it was my birthday and I was taking myself out for the first time solo.
The team went above and beyond. I felt truly welcomed, cared for, and incredibly well fed. I sat at the bar, where I got to watch Santana craft such a variety of drinks. That was so entertaining in itself, and she balanced it all effortlessly while making sure I was comfortable and looked after. Every single person who stopped by to hand me a drink or drop off food, was so lovely and nice. They really showed care and kindness and that was so refreshing to experience - it was like I was being greeted in a friends home. To top it off, the evening ended with my coat, already waiting for me at the exit and with a quick tour of the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch.
The entire team was fantastic and everything felt seamless from start to finish. Thank you, Prime Seafood. I will never forget this experience.

Wow — what an incredible meal! It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. My partner surprised me with an early Valentine’s dinner, and we were both so impressed from start to finish.
We loved the attention to detail, especially how they took our coats as soon as we walked in — such a lovely touch. Our server, Katie, was so warm and welcoming and really made the experience feel special.
The food was absolutely outstanding — we loved the prime rib and Yorkshire pudding, and the lobster spaghetti was amazing!
To top off the night, we were given a tour of the kitchen — it was huge and such a wow factor. Thank you for making our early Valentine’s celebration so memorable.

It's like my friend said: "Expensive meals are an experience, and worth the cost." I couldn't agree more. Never in my 44 years on this rock have I ever had a wonderful experience with food and service. The staff was a 10 out of 10. Our waiter Luca was extraordinary, and Conor, the General Manager, made us feel like VIP guests by giving us a tour of their kitchen. All wood, by the way!The architectural design of this place was also a marvel to admire between dishes. Highly recommend. less

Had the octopus& stracciatella to start very well executed.
Scallops were good- not blown away.
32 oz Prime chared with bordelaise(PERFECTION)
cabbage Milanese(WOW)
Mixed mushrooms were good! Fresh Horseradish, THE YORKSHIRE-EXCELLENT EXECUTION.
Fantastic cocktails, decor was contemporary…pretty cool. Loved the unassuming entrance! Fantastic washroom MUST SEE! Service knowledgeable, unobtrusive, friendly.
Thank you
I visited Sunday evening with my family. From the time we sat down the waitress , sommelier and others were upselling the quantity of food and choice of wine despite my insistence of specific menu items and choice of wine .the portions were very small and abusive when comparing with price . 4 slices of filet mignon and a wagyu totalled close to 500$ . The dessert a slice of a simple chocolate cake 28$. It goes on and on . The service disorganized and frankly I needed to get this off my chest. Completely ridiculous and totally unjustified.
PRIME SEAFOOD PALACE, Toronto
We were seated at the bar and our first encounter was with Molly who was very charming and extremely helpful. I had brought a bottle of Champagne which they immediately put on ice while I enjoyed an excellent French 75.
My friend started with the Sicilian Crudo, basically sashimi of tuna, kingfish and salmon floating in olive oil and an herb that might have been basil. My first thought was, why would you want to take fish that already has its own natural oil and add more oil? It didn't work and as a result was a huge disappointment.
Her main dish was the filet mignon, which tasted okay, accompanied by wild mushrooms which were also, just okay.
I had the Beluga Caviar and Accoutrements, the latter being potato chips, tiny hash brown squares, finely chopped shallots and creme fraiche. Potato chips? The hashed brown squares were greasy and introduced an element to the dish that was not compatible. It was disappointing.
My main was the A5 Wagyu from Australia. It was excellent. However, it came with a ponzu sauce and raw egg that I found to be unnecessary; a little sea salt was all it needed. I had a side order of peppers, very nice, and the Palace potatoes which I was told consisted of "26 or 28 layers"; they were nothing special and had an element of greasiness.
The Key Lime pie was good.
I think the classic dishes, sashimi and caviar, can be ruined by a chef's misguided idea that olive oil and potato chips can improve the experience. Simple soy sauce and blinis, respectively, are all that would be necessary. To me it reeks of pretension.
The restaurant has no softness to its decor, and we found it very noisy.
The staff was first class and very professional.
By the way, my Champagne was excellent but wasted on a below average dinner.
Overall, a huge disappointment that offered no value for the price.
Honestly, if I could give this place a thousand stars, I would.
I never in my life has said that about any restaurant.
Prime Seafood Palace isn’t just a restaurant… it’s an experience. From the first hello to the very last bite, everything felt absolutely surreal. The food was perfection, the atmosphere stunning, and the service… I have no words, only awe.
We had a table for seven to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and I had called ahead asking if there was any way they could prepare fried scallops (his absolute favorite dish). They kindly explained that it wasn’t part of their menu — which I completely understood. But midway through dinner, to my absolute shock, they surprised us with a completely custom dish: golden, crisp, perfectly cooked fried scallops. The look on his face — and honestly, on everyone’s at the table — was pure joy.
That moment alone showed what this place is truly about: genuine care, creativity, and a love for their craft. They didn’t just serve food; they created a memory that we’ll never forget.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable night — one that makes you feel seen, celebrated, and utterly spoiled — Prime Seafood Palace is the place.
I loved the food, ambiance and service here so much! I’ve heard mixed reviews about PSP but wanted to come try it for myself. It didn’t disappoint. The staff are all extremely welcoming, friendly and kind. The restaurant was also stunning. Extremely clean washrooms with a Le labo candle burning. The food was phenomenal as well. They cut their prime rib in a way I’ve never seen before and the bread with bone marrow butter, green garlic butter and tomato butter was outstanding. The lobster spaghetti had a lot of lobster chunks in it. The sauce was heavy but it didn’t feel or taste heavy at all. Very refined and delicious. It is pricey but you get what you pay for. I would definitely come back again.
We had an absolutely gorgeous experience at Prime Seafood Palace. While I know not everyone has had a five-star visit, ours truly was. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. Every staff member was so kind, friendly, and professional. Our server was not only attentive but witty, making us laugh and landing jokes back to us with perfect timing (we think her name was Katie?! Sorry we forget!).
The space itself is unique and full of character. The main floor bathroom is worth a visit on its own, with a skylight, a Lake Erie map as the sink, and even a fancy toilet (and if there’s ever a toilet worth sitting on, this would be it!). Don’t forget to look up!
We came just after five without reservations and were lucky to get in. As we left, we saw people being turned away, which made us extra grateful to have snagged a table and the special prime rib, which was exceptional. They only have so many of the special each evening. Everything else we ordered was delicious, the wine was excellent, and the chocolate cake was so good we ended up bringing ours home to savor.
I’ve seen some mention the prices being high, but we felt they were fair, especially knowing that so much of what’s on the menu comes directly from local farmers. In today’s world, it’s something to be grateful for, not taken for granted, that farmers and chefs are still working this way to bring us incredible food. We also had a gift card which helped lessen the blow too but still prices are justified.
All in all, a memorable evening that we enjoyed for date night!
Understated Luxury, Perfectly Executed
Tucked discreetly down an unmarked alley, Prime Seafood feels like discovering a secret meant only for those in the know. Its understated elegance speaks volumes without a single pretentious note. A rare balance of refinement and warmth that immediately sets it apart.
The moment you step inside, the atmosphere wraps you in understated luxury. Warm natural maple and knotted pine create an organic backdrop, while subtle leather upholstery lends a sophisticated softness to the seating. Gold accents form delicate partitions between dining areas, beautifully defining each space, yet the design remains open and airy, giving a sense of connection throughout the room. The effect is both intimate and expansive: you feel cocooned in privacy without ever feeling closed off. The thoughtful lighting and minimalist floral arrangements further enhance the serene, refined aesthetic, making the space as memorable as the cuisine.
We began with a Gin Fizz and a Gibson, both impeccably crafted, bright, balanced, and served with an artistry that hinted at what was to come. The Shrimp Cocktail was classic perfection, while the Tomato and Lobster dish was fresh and vibrant, showcasing the kitchen’s respect for pristine ingredients. The sesame encrusted Steak Tartare was rich and velvety, a flawless nod to tradition.
For mains, the Halibut was delicately cooked and melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the Filet Mignon was everything a steak lover could hope for; succulent, expertly seasoned, and seared to perfection. A Fennel Vesper was the ideal companion, herbal and aromatic, complementing the meal beautifully.
Desserts were a sublime finale: the Japanese style Cheesecake was light yet decadent, and the Key Lime Pie struck the perfect balance of tart and sweet.
Prime Seafood is a masterclass in subtle sophistication. A hidden gem where every detail, from the cocktails to the final bite, feels curated yet effortless. A must for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience without the slightest hint of pretension.
Came here for my birthday celebration and was super excited. However the food unfortunately fell short of expectations.
We ordered bacon appetizer, lobster pasta, palace prime rib cut, potatoes and chocolate cake to finish.
The bacon appetizer was decent but nothing special. The lobster pasta was good but nothing outstanding.
The palace prime rib was the dish that fell out of my expectation due to that’s what they are known for. The prime rib was chewy and hard to cut through and on top of that there was a hair that as on it. We flagged our server and she was kind, apologized and offered to remake it. Unfortunately we were no longer interested in getting a new one so they were kind enough to take it off the bill.
Lastly the dessert, it looked really good when i saw it from another person who ordered. However the cake was a little too dry for my liking.
I had high hopes for this restaurant after seeing all the online buzz, but it ended up being one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in Toronto.
The food was average at best and nowhere near worth the $500 bill we racked up for just four dishes and 2 drinks. That’s beyond excessive, even for this city.
To make things worse, the table beside us tried to order the prime roast only to be told it was already sold out (less than two hours into dinner service). The atmosphere was equally underwhelming: stiff, awkward, and far from welcoming. For the price point, this place falls way short.
