We stumbled upon this steakhouse in Liberty Village, and it was a complete surprise! We thought it was just a small burger joint, but it turned out to be a full-service steakhouse with amazing meals priced at $20-30 per person. The owner was incredibly kind and went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs during pregnancy. The place is lovely, the service is top-notch, and my husband absolutely loved his steak sandwich with a special cilantro twist. The restrooms are spotless, and there’s even free street parking.

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have lines out the door for seating and takeout. Liberty Village, don’t let this gem pass you by! Genuinely fantastic rib-eye steak and duck fat fries (or rib steak sandwich). The manager and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with their recommendations too. This place is fantastic for the price point. You HAVE to give it a shot. Try the peppercorn sauce too.

We stopped by on a whim not knowing what to expect and very surprised by how great the food, price and service was. It's hard to find such reasonably priced dry aged steaks at a restaurant. My dish came with garlic parmesan fries cooked in duck fat and a side of peppercorn gravy. This is my new favorite place! I can't wait to come back.

i am absolutely IN LOVE with the bearnaise sauce here — it is perfectly paired with EVERYTHING especially the amazingly delicious duck fat fries. the bernaise sauce was buttery, salty, a bit tangy, had bits of shallot, and was a perfect creamy balance with the crispy fries. the fries were thin, quite salty (but in a super yummy kind of way) and i loved the sharp, subtly ferment-y shaved parmesan on top. honestly some of the best fries i’ve ever had, and the steak frites came with a seemingly endless mountain of them so i’m super grateful.

another highlight was the dessert, specifically the banana pudding. this banana pudding was much THICKER and denser than other ones, and had a really rich, concentrated banana flavour. it was still super creamy, and the sweetness of the banana was complemented by the breadiness and nutmeg of the biscoff crumble. the chocolate mousse was also really great — the chocolate was bitter, and not as sweet as other mousses. it was also a bit more on the thicker side, but still super creamy and lighter than the banana pudding. i also LOVED the sprinkle of sea salt on top — it was an amazing touch. both desserts were super indulgent (and pro tip: get the split decision because the portions are basically the same as the regular dessert)

the ribeye was sliced thin and tender (moderately chewy, but not tough or dry) and had a good flavour, but there wasn’t much on the plate tbh.

the parisian burger was also really solid. the patty was thick, smoky, but i think the burger would’ve been much more enjoyable if it was juicier). the smokiness of the beef was balanced well by the sweetness of the crunchy onions and the caramelized sauce. i found that the cheese didn’t have a very prominent taste though.

i had a bit of the steak sandwich, and the steak was also cooked perfectly chewy and the combination of the tangy chimichurri and arugula created a fresh taste.

one TINY complaint — even though we were the first and only ones in the restaurant, the food took quite a long time to come on and when it did arrive, it was warm-ish but got chilly quite fast. otherwise, service was very friendly!

The steak, burger, and salad were absolutely delicious! The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked — every bite was a real pleasure. This place has definitely become one of my favorites. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and genuinely polite. The café itself is clean, cozy, and has a pleasant atmosphere. We came here with the whole family by chance, but left extremely satisfied. Highly recommend!

I've been to this place on several occasions, and I have to say—it's genuinely fantastic. From their fresh salads and delicious sandwiches to their new Rib Eye burger (which is outstanding), everything I've tried has been top-tier. The service is consistently excellent, and the owner is a genuinely humble, solid guy who clearly cares about the business and his customers.
That said, I feel the need to address a few of the negative reviews you might see further down. In all honesty, if you ever have an issue with your food or service, I encourage you to reach out to the management first. Give them the opportunity to make it right. Most small business owners take pride in their work and will go out of their way to resolve any concerns if given the chance.
It honestly pains me to see how quick some people are to leave negative reviews without attempting to find a solution first. Starting and growing a small business takes an incredible amount of dedication, time, and heart—not to mention the effort it takes to build a reputation in the community.
So, I just want to reassure anyone reading this that Paris Steak is a well-run, quality establishment. I highly recommend giving them a try. And if your experience isn't what you hoped for, please contact the team before leaving a review. I’m confident they’ll do everything they can to make it right.

To the team at Paris Steak—thank you for your hard work. You're doing a great job. Keep going.

Paris Steak is excellent. I ordered a ribeye sandwich with extra steak, duck fat fries, and a banana pudding. The quality of the food was outstanding; the steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The fries were excellent, perfectly crispy and rich. The banana pudding was great, very indulgent and creamy. The service was great too; I didn’t realize they would be so friendly and check in on you. I thought it was going to be a more casual experience, and I’m glad it wasn’t, both for the price I paid and just the service going a level above similar restaurants in the city. If you want a steak sandwich this might be the best in Toronto.

Tried Paris Steak for the first time today and it did not disappoint! I stopped in for takeout and was immediately impressed by how welcoming the staff were — super friendly and attentive. They even offered me a glass of water while I waited, which was a thoughtful touch.

My order was ready in about 10 minutes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The duck fat fries were crisp and flavorful — definitely a standout — and the steak in the sandwich was cooked perfectly: tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I also grabbed the banana pudding for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet finish.

Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in Liberty Village. Great service, fantastic food, and I’ll definitely be back soon!
