Gave Harry's a try for the first time tonight, though I found on unpacking it (did takeout) that they'd messed up my order; I ordered a double Classic Jane, but instead got a double Plane Jane, which is unfortunate, as I don't love straight ketchup on my burgers. But anyways, it was a fine burger, very much in-line with other spots around the city catering to the smash-burger trend. Hard to go wrong with that... greasy (probably 80/20?) beefy beef, melted cheese... what's not to like? The fries looked promising from afar, but fell short for me, both as far as the texture (far too dry inside; I'd reconsider the type of spud used) and seasoning, barely any salt. The jalapeno mayo dip was fine, nothing remarkable. Reason for "only" three-stars is that at near $30 for my "combo", I'd just expect something more (and for the order to be right)- I'd feel much better about what I had if it cost 30%-or-so less. They have a couple sandwiches on the menu I'd still like to try-- Big Jane and Red Burger--, as well the poutine, but don't think I'll be running back. As a side-note, I highly recommend letting the food cool down for a few minutes before digging in, as it's piping hot, more-so than from any other spot I've eaten at- not a bad thing obviously, just a word of caution. Also, reason for only three stars re: service- I asked both guys behind the counter working the grill/food station what their favourites were, as well as about the gravy, and I was met with disinterested, bordering on rude, replies which didn't even answer the questions but just kind of brushed them off? Spot looks cool aesthetically tho!

Ordered a classic Jane solo, a double Jane solo, some chicken fingers and onion rings.
The onion rings were good and the chicken fingers were alright. The burgers were alright as well, but nothing that great.
They made an odd choice for the classic jane and double jane to remove certain parts of the sandwich (classic has lettuce, tomatoes and Harry's sauce, but double removes those in place of 1 patty and anything else is considered an addon). The patties were also a bit more salty than I like.

I live close by, and went there in 2023 on the first day it opened and never went back until today. The first time it was waaaay too salty and decided to never go back. This time was completely different, the burger was really great and fresh so after trying a 2nd time, I might become a regular now!! Gravy sauce is solid too

For fans of a quality smash burger, let me tell you — this spot deserves far more recognition.

I ordered the classic Double Jane burger, which comes with two smash patties, each topped with a slice of American cheese, plus pickles, onions, and ketchup. While I would’ve loved if lettuce and tomatoes were included — I added tomatoes for an extra $0.99 — the burger still checked all the boxes of a well-executed smash burger.

Served on a soft, lightly toasted brioche-style bun, the patties were packed with flavour and had those signature crispy edges while staying juicy inside — exactly what you want in a proper smash burger.

Despite the name Harry’s Charbroiled, I’ve heard the burgers are actually seared on a flattop rather than charbroiled. I ordered delivery this time, so I can’t confirm that firsthand — but either way, the burger delivered on being exceptionally well-charred.

This is a burger I’ll definitely be coming back for — and one I’d confidently put on my list of the best in the city.

A convenient burger joint. We got two double Jane burgers. The size was good for the price. I would suggest a little bit less cheese as the taste of the cheese was overpowering. The fries are the star of the show and very good. You can tell they make them in house fresh. Very tasty.
The staff are lovely and the service is quick. There is not much seating so plan to take out if needed.

I went to this place based on a recommendation online (somewhere) and it was a burger joint to remember. I ordered the burger through a window, waited for a properly cooked burger, ate outside and the burger was really good. This is a hidden gem and you have to do research to find these places. The patio was a bit rundown, but I didn't care.
