I was quoted a certain price by Shoshanna of this bakery for a specific wedding cake and agreed to it. Then followed the classic "bait and switch" by this bakery. The quote went up by 67%. The owner Aboudi attempted to justify their mendacity by claiming that I had requested a more expensive icing, which I never did, and then said that if I wanted the cake at the originally agreed upon price, the cake would be decorated by a decorator with inferior decorating skills. This deceitful bakery does not deserve to have any clients. Beware having to do anything with them at your own cost.

Always a great selection with a warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff make every visit a pleasant experience, and the quality never disappoints. We feel very lucky to have this gem right in our neighbourhood!

Don't waste your money here. The bagels are fine but, I asked for a cream cheese bagel and received the saddest sandwich I've ever seen. The bagel was not toasted and only half the bagel had PHILADELPHIA cream cheese on it. I only came here because Gryfe's was closed and I'll never make that mistake again!

Considering it is Hanukkah and I work very close to the area I had decided to go on a quest to locate some Surf ganiot!!!

My quest was completed when I entered the doors and I could smell and see all the racks full of fresh Sofganiot.

I received assistance right away, I got myself 6 of them 2 of each and I will try them and no not all at the same time, I don't want to ruin my dinner lol

Very friendly service from the gentleman who assisted me. I would totally recommend these guys they're very friendly courteous and fast. And of course the food looks and smells delicious🤤😊

Visited to continue our "Carb-atarian" diet, and were very pleasantly surprised to find out how nice this place is.

Given the overall down-trodden, outright awful outward appearance of everything ELSE on that section of Bathurst, this place was extraordinary, by comparison.

We walked in to find it very clean, well staffed by very informed employees who really seemed to care about their business.

They had a tremendous selection of a variety of baked goods ranging from cookies to cakes and a multitude of specialty breads.

We took home some Gingersnap cookies and 2 loaves of "Sweet bread", and a Blueberry loaf.

They were absolutely delicious, especially if you buttered the sliced Blueberry loaf and pan seared it, so the butter browned up to give one edge of the bread a gentle crisp.

The place is a MUST VISIT.. .if you can look past the abject filth that is everywhere AROUND this little gem.
