Ikkousha Ramen Chicken is located at 257 Queen St W in Toronto , ON and serves great food and drinks in Toronto
This place has been a favourite of mine for some time. Their chicken broth has a depth of flavour that I haven’t seen in any other chicken ramen in Toronto.
They’ve also always put a lot chicken than I’ve gotten at other places. From my experience it usually contains 3 thin slices of chicken and a bunch small cubes of chicken as well. Not only that, but the texture of the chicken is so much more tender than I’ve gotten in other places. The small cubes have always been nice and delicate and pair perfectly with the rich broth.
Today when I went I was a little disappointed because my ramen lacked those small chicken pieces. Those pieces and their texture, along with the broth, were why this place has been such a favourite of mine. Perhaps they just forgot it today and they haven’t stopped adding them, I’m not sure.
Regardless, the flavour of the bowl overall is still delicious as always. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.
I ordered the Tori miso at this location. I was surprised at how quickly I was able to receive my order. I was looking around and taking pictures of the interior and suddenly my order arrives.
The counter has condiments but not your typical selection. The condiments consists of dipping sauce for the gyoza, chilli vinegar for the ramen, a sesame seed grinder , and black pepper.
The miso soup was mildly hot. Came with bamboo, nori, bean sprouts, green onions, two thin chicken breast slices, and some small chicken cubes.
The thin noodles were firm and carried the soup really well. The miso was not over powering to drown out the chicken flavour.
I really enjoyed the umami rich flavour of the soup broth.
Worth checking out again to try one of the other selections.
This is the best ramen I’ve ever had! The Tori Paitan is their regular option and it’s incredibly flavorful. This ramen is also amazing rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. We also ordered the gyozas, which were delicious, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The karaage don was tasty too, with crunchy, well-seasoned chicken. The highlight here is definitely the ramen, but they also offer other creative options for those who like to explore new flavors. The service is excellent, the staff are always kind, attentive, and make you feel welcome. I totally recommend this place!
I recently visited Ikkousha Ramen in Toronto and had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious — every bite was full of rich, comforting flavors that made it easily some of the best ramen I’ve had in the city. The broth was perfectly seasoned, the noodles had a great texture, and all the toppings were fresh and flavorful. On top of the fantastic food, the service was outstanding. Everyone there was so kind, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. You can really feel the care they put into both their food and hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch ramen spot!
