This place definitely lived up to its HYPE!! We ordered the following :
1. Bobby goes to Dallas
2. Bobby makes fried rice
3. Spicy chicken Benny

The food was DIVINE. I had the Bobby goes to Dallas and the caramelized onions just hit the spot. The eggs were fluffy and made to perfection. (For anyone who is not big on potatoes, this dish comes with a lot of potatoes . FYI) .

BOBBY MAKES fried rice : this is a big portion and can easily serve two people. The Asian sauces definitely hit the spot. The flavors of the kimchi , the sauces and the eggs blend so well!

The Portion sizes are huge . Shoutout to our waiter EMRE who was amazing ! He has such an infectious energy and smile!! Kudos to the front lady who organized the seating. She did such a great job with seating everyone as it was so crowded.

If you are coming on a Sunday expect a minimum wait of 30-40 mins.

Great brunch! Pancakes and omelettes were amazing. Home made syrup delicious. And our server Emre was 10/10! He made everything easy and was super fun and helpful with our 1 year old baby at the table. Will return any time I’m in Toronto!

I was pleasantly surprised by L'Avenue! It is a bit too busy on weekends for me so I never tried it, however I came for a business lunch on a weekday and it was just the right level of busy for me. Most notable was the food, as there were several items on the menu that appealed to me. I ended up ordering the Gym Dude ($26) as I'm in my fitness era, and with some hot sauce it was delicious. Everything is around that price range, which is reasonable for brunch in Toronto. The service was also quite quick (probably because it was a workday) which I appreciated. I will definitely be back to try more items!

Went for an early morning brunch before heading to a blue jays game, place was nearly full even just after opening. A line was forming just before 10 am (this was a Sunday).

I got the fried rice and it was so good! The crispy toppings + melt in your mouth omelette + bite of flavour bomb fried rice was perfect in each bite! The serving was huge too! Perfect for people who can finish this in one sitting but for me it was too much in one moment but of course it was so good that I took my leftover home and ate it for dinner - still good even after being reheated!

My friends got the other dishes, the Bobby Does Dallas had an amazing flavour profile which went really well with the naan - the lemon blueberry pancake was such a good combination, not overwhelmingly sweet nor tart/tangy, it was just right! I didn’t get a good bite of the steak + eggs but the piece I tried wasn’t really anything out of the ordinary so I need to go back and try it again lol

The rejuvenate’s flavour was really good but I wish it was colder or had more ice when it was blended. It wasn’t cold enough to be considered a smoothie when it was served. Not sure if it was just served late too.

When we dined here, our table was a bit away from the view of our server because there was a wall kind of obstructing us but that shouldn’t be an excuse not to check in on us though - we could see that other tables beside us who had different servers were being served and attended to faster/earlier than us.

Overall - great place, location, ambiance, and food selection! Definitely a busy place but its because it is a place that is a must try!

We had an amazing experience at L'Avenue. Lee was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Her recommendations were absolutely spot on, and everything we ordered was delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the drinks were just as impressive. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal. Thank you, Lee, for making our visit so memorable. We can't wait to come back!

Everything about it was well curated and delicious! Expensive but worth the money. There was also such variety of food I very impressed with the choices. Also everything came with a little side salad that was very good. I recommend the Bobby does fried rice (I think it was called)

we were sat at our table and left alone for what felt like 15–20 minutes before anyone came to greet us or pour water. every time a server approached a table, they led with "sorry for the wait", which tells you it wasn't just us. there didn't seem to be anyone properly orchestrating the front of house to ensure each party was getting adequate attention. the host was even pulled to help out back, leaving a lineup of guests standing at the entrance with no one to greet them.

the food itself took what felt like 30 minutes to arrive - considering it’s brunch food, like eggs and quick-fire items that should be prepped in advance and turned over quickly. it was frustrating seeing the table next to us, who sat down maybe twenty minutes after we ordered receive nearly identical food within minutes. it was hard not to feel like we'd just been forgotten in the queue.

I loved the Pancake Flight, all pancakes were amazing. I would say the strawberry chocolate one is quite heavy on the chocolate, so if you are a fan, that's definitely up your alley. My favorite was the blueberry lemon pancake, and the matcha was a new and unique flavour for me.
Crystal, my server was amazing, she came in with high energy and made sure we were fed properly and joyfully. I would definitely want her again next time I come.

We also got a side of fruit cup. Those side options don’t show on the menu but are available. Love that they have real maple syrup. Their pistachio latte was rich and delicious. Our bagels were hard, like it was toasted too long. It was on the louder side and it’s hard to hear one another talk. They have high chairs but no changing stations. They don’t charge gratuity automatically for bigger groups. Had a good experience overall and will come back.

Stopped in for brunch on a Tuesday morning and we were not disappointed! The food was fantastic, the portions gigantic and the service was excellent. We made a reservation, because we weren’t sure if we’d need one or not, it was quiet when we arrived at 0900 but quite busy by the time we left an hour later; you can easily make a reservation through their website.

The restaurant has a fun atmosphere and the staff were all helpful, attentive and friendly.

Our food was delicious, we ordered the French toast flight and the ‘indecisive’ breakfast with lemon-blueberry pancakes… it’s so much food, be prepared to take some home, or plan to share with your dining companions.

We’d eat here again!
