I'm commenting on the friendly service we got and we had the chance to capture a few photos that hopefully show a few smiles and how CLEAN this place is. One of the 7 wonders of Scarborough, according to a review that's posted inside and outside there lots of parking. Enter from Sheppard and go behind the Shoppers Drug Mart for Johnny's lower parking lot.

Johnny’s Burger – ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
Tried the steak on a kaiser and it was really good – juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The bun was soft, and the toppings were fresh, giving it that classic old-school burger feel. 🍔

It gets very busy, especially during lunch hours, but the line moves fast. Just a heads-up – it’s cash only, but they do have an ATM inside if you forget. The place doesn’t have indoor seating, but there are a few benches outside where you can sit and eat.

Nothing fancy, just good food made right. Great spot for a quick, satisfying meal if you’re in the area and craving a proper burger

Definitely a classic! We got their cheeseburger, which was $5.70 (double patty you add $2.40), veal on Kaiser ($6.50), cheese dog ($4.95), gravy on fries ($1.45) and the fountain drink ($1.45). Everything was pretty good, you can't really ruin a burger and for these prices, there's no room to complain. If you plan on getting the veal on kaiser, the veal isn't as thick as a burger but the flavour is there. The cheese dog was good but Johnny's burgers is better known for their burgers. They also told us that their hot dogs are a mix of chicken, beef, and pork so keep that in mind if you have any dietary restrictions. As for the gravy on fries...I loved it! We got the gravy on the side (which makes it easier to use the gravy on other food too) the gravy and fries were such a great combo! Overall, great staple in scarborough.

Good burgers, okay fries, amazing onion rings. The service was friendly. Always a long line here cause it’s a very popular spot. Cash only, but they have an atm inside if you need to grab cash

Had the poutine and 5 of my coworkers had banquet burgers. It's really good id definitely recommend. Prices are cheap and they don't pre-make things, i saw them make my whole order quickly. They're better than "fast food". Just keep in mind they're a "cash only", i didn't see an atm but I also didn't look for one

Delicious burgers in this vintage take out place in the heart of the city. We hosted here around midnight and enjoyed its excellent food. The place doesn’t have a dining area so we ate in the parking.
Johnny’s burger offer the most reasonable price for the quality and taste. Burgers are all sub ten dollars and no where else you’ll find the quality and taste that Johnny offers with this price.

Me and my family have been going to this place for years and it is the best burger and fries that I have had in Toronto. The food is fantastic and the price is cheap. However, you don’t go there for a fancy sit down dinner…you have to eat in the car since there are no tables. And it’s cash only. It would be a perfect feature in Diners drive-ins and dives if they filmed here. And the guys at the counter offer great entertainment as well …very funny and friendly.

You have to try a burger here if you’re in the area. Only disappointing thing is they are closed Sunday.

We have placed calls from 11am to 1118am to place a group order from North York General hospital. The website AND the phone message states that the restaurant is open from 1030am...maybe the ringer is off...

Sooo we finally got someone on the phone who states that they don't take phone orders...not very conducive for a hospital unit...

First time here, food wasn't bad but I was expecting waaaaay better based on what I have heard. The best part of my burger was the bun. Excellent, soft and chewy bun, but the burger patty inside was so small and thein that it was lost in the big fluffy bun. Toppings were also great so it wasn't bad, just needed some meat between the buns. Fries were great, hot and crispy. I didn't have a milkshake but my friend did and it looked great! Also saw a cheese dog being prepared and if I ver make it back, it will be a cheese dog and milkshake for me. Prices were very reasonable, but I would rather pay a bit more for a burger with a little more beef on it.
