One of the most incredible dining experiences in not just Toronto but my life.

The vibe inside is lively and energetic, not stuffy like a lot of traditional Michelins.

Of course the price is up there for the tasting menu and wine pairing, but was more than worth it.

The pasta dish (their specialty), was single handedly the best bite of food I have ever eaten in Toronto, or even in North America. Truly a mindblowing food program with a great vibe and excellent service.

Well deserving of their 1 star appointment!

Dining at Danico was an absolutely amazing experience from beginning to end. Everything was thoughtfully designed, from the beautiful interior and stunning decor to the presentation of every dish. Even the bathroom design was impressive and felt like a work of art in itself.
We ordered the prix fixe three-course menu, and every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You could really feel the attention to detail and quality in every part of the experience.
The staff were equally wonderful, very polite, professional, attentive, and welcoming without being intrusive.
As it was my first visit, I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary champagne cork, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience even more memorable. 🥂✨
From the food to the architecture, service, atmosphere, and attention to detail, everything was exceptional. It’s easy to understand why Danico has received such high recognition. Definitely an experience I would love to have again.

Exceptional Anniversary Dinner

Danico was an exceptional experience from start to finish. My wife and I visited to celebrate our anniversary, and it was truly a memorable evening. From the beautiful design and stunning heritage building to the impeccable service, every detail felt thoughtfully considered.

The food was exquisite, both in flavour and presentation, and the storytelling from the staff behind each dish made the experience even more special. The Kobe beef was absolutely buttery and delicious, and the cocktails were outstanding.

Danico absolutely deserves its Michelin star. The attention to detail, creativity, hospitality, and overall execution were exceptional. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a truly special dining experience!

Last week my family booked this Michelin-starred restaurant for my big day. The world’s third best Italian restaurant in the world for 2026 by 50 Top Italy, nestled inside a historic bank building in Little-Italy neighborhood, deep berry black walls as a canvas for furnishings and artwork, plush seating, it gave you an immediate feeling of fine-dining destination upon arrival. The tasting menu worth every dollar spent. Artisan bread and canapé selection were beautifully presented and delicious. Each dish was like an art piece placed on the carefully curated plate. Some dishes were amazing like duck breast and sea bass. Some, I believe, would taste better if the ingredient were Japanese wagyu tenderloin instead of Australia. The finale Hit the Michelin-starred Chef Daniele Corona on the dessert was definitely so much fun! The coccole finali chocolates were a surprise as well. The restaurant also kindly arranged a special piece of cake and gift for my big day. Thank you very much! The service was exceptional and the waiters with Italian accents added uniqueness to the restaurant in Canada.

DaNico is absolutely worth every dollar from the moment you walk into the restaurant. Stunning decor, notable service, allergy awareness, and flavour pairings that are impressive to say the least. They truly took their time curating this menu.

Their New Year’s Eve prix fixe menu specifically was incredible. So lovely, in fact, that it brought me back to DaNico without hesitation.

Side-note: I always find it impressive when such intricate flavour pairings can be adjusted to accommodate allergies. They do an incredible job keeping me safe, which allows me to fully enjoy the experience without worry.

And for my wine connoisseurs, they have some lovely options available as well.

We came for my partners 30th birthday and both the food and service here were incredible. We ordered their prix fix à la carte menu $160 CAD and upgraded to get the Kobe steak for an extra $80 CAD, which melts in your mouth. Our favourite dishes outside of that were the spaghettoni ai funghi and the ravioli arrosto with king salmon. I’m half Japanese, and loved the Kyoto Hojicha sparkling non-alcoholic drink. It’s rare that I’ve gone to a restaurant and been wow’d by every dish that came out, which are Italian at its base and globally inspired (lot of Japanese adapted dishes). The “hit the chef” dessert was also a unique experience of flavours with a “pop,” we recommend ordering that one. They gave a card and complimentary DaNico branded wine stopper as well before leaving. Great experience overall.

Honestly originally was a bit skeptical after hearing so many raving reviews on the place and was worried it would be quite theatrical but it definitely exceeded expectations. It’s quite hard to find good restaurants that feel worth their price point but DaNico did amazing.

Their staff are overly attentive but not in an overbearing manner. Many tables come for celebrations and they really take the time to make you feel special as long as you let them know.

The menu felt very italian and japanese inspired as we had just returned from Japan. Flavours were thoughtful and plates were decorated intentionally. I particularly liked the different plates that make the entire experience feel more grande. The food was honestly delicious and brought a lot of memories of childhood experiences without being able to pinpoint how. It was also playful and artistic in its own way! “Hit the chef” - the dessert at the end was particularly memorable of “bazooka” bubble gum.

Overall would highly recommend. We had a great night and the staff do a great job at making recommendations as well so don’t be shy to ask.
