Just finished Sunday brunch at Edulis. In the 20 years I’ve lived in Toronto, I can say with incredible confidence that this is one of the few places in the city that is:
1. Worth the hype
2. Worth the wait (reservations, especially for Sunday brunch are hard to come by)
3. Worth the money

No where else in the city will you get the level of service, taste, and general vibe. The *only* dish we didn’t love was the baked torpedo onion in the rarebit sauce. It was a bit too onion forward for us, but you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take 😉. Corey, our lovely server was 5/6 with the suggested wine pairings, the only miss was the red but that was more my fault (he gave me options but I opted to ignore his sage advice) than his. I loved every minute of our leisurely 5 hour lunch and would go back again in a heartbeat.

Stopped by for an early dinner earlier this week and the tasting menu still has me thinking about the trout roe course, silky and briny in a way I haven't had elsewhere in the city. The dining room has this understated, almost farmhouse warmth to it, exposed brick and low light that makes a solo counter seat feel just as good as a table for four. Our server clearly knew the wine list cold and steered us toward a natural red that matched the richer courses without me having to ask twice. Street parking near Ossington was tight around 6pm but the walk gave me time to work up an appetite, and honestly the meal was worth circling the block for.

Eruris is one of the best restaurants in Toronto. I absolutely love how they let the quality of the ingredients shine, especially with their seafood-focused dishes. Everything feels fresh, delicate, and thoughtfully prepared, allowing the natural flavors to speak for themselves. Additionalky they have very cute champaign glasses to enrich champaign taste

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, intimate, and incredibly welcoming. Every course reflected exceptional craftsmanship, with a strong focus on premium seasonal ingredients and flawless execution. The seafood was remarkably fresh, every sauce was thoughtfully balanced, and each plate was beautifully presented.

The service was polished, attentive, and perfectly paced, allowing us to enjoy every course without feeling rushed. It’s easy to understand why this restaurant has earned a Michelin Star.

If you appreciate refined cuisine, outstanding hospitality, and a memorable tasting menu, Edulis is absolutely worth the visit. I’m already looking forward to returning for another exceptional dining experience.

Great atmosphere and amazing food! Service was impeccable! The whole menu was fantastic but the Afonsino, Celtuce, and Monkfish were particular favourites. They fully deserve their Michelin star. The care and thought behind each dish was so evident and they were all so well balanced. Even the butter was amazing! The ambiance was great with an excellent playlist, albeit a little bit louder than expected. What I loved, which oddly some of the reviews complained about, was that we were never rushed. Timing was perfect and we had a really lovely and completely enjoyable evening that lasted about 4 hours. This obviously comes at a cost to the restaurant as they cannot turn over the table so I really appreciate and applaud them for their commitment to providing a wonderful experience for their customers. Our server was very friendly and skilled in his profession; he was so kind to help us take photos outside of the restaurant. There are so many great restaurants in Toronto but if you are deciding which one to try, I would put Edulis at the top of the list. To the great chefs and staff at Edulis, thank you so much for making our daughter’s graduation celebration a really special one!

We had a memorable meal in such a cosy environment. Could not believe how quickly four hours melted away when enjoying this amazing meal. Had a chance to meet the talented chef and the staff were very personable. The seafood and desserts were absolute highlights.

We went with my spouse for a special occasion, and it truly turned out to be the right choice. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed very warmly. Each dish offers a different combination of flavours, and all of them are very well balanced. The plates were excellent. Overall, it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The fact that the place is small also creates a more intimate atmosphere. It definitely deserves its Michelin star.

It’s an ideal place for those who really want to enjoy a good meal. I can say it lives up to the hype everything was very carefully done. My expectations were high, and they were largely met. We had a particularly calm and high-quality evening. It’s truly a restaurant that knows what it’s doing.

Pleasantly surprised, didn't know what to expect. The service and food were exquisite. I'll be happy to go back. In particular the going made bread was a highlight.

My favorite was the blueberry dessert... I am a dessert guy!

Only one caveat, you will be there for several hours, this is definately not fast food and all the meals are individually prepared for you at the time your seating starts... I've been at other restaurants where each serving comes out for everyone at the same time, Edulis is not like that.
