Came here to celebrate our one-year anniversary, and it was such a lovely dining experience from start to finish! Between the attentive service, beautiful atmosphere, and incredible food, it really felt like the perfect spot for a special occasion.
We ordered a selection of dishes to share, including the roasted sweet potato, Empanada Oaxaqueña, bluefin tuna tartare, bone marrow & wild Argentinian shrimp, and Pork Secreto al Pastor. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavour, but a few dishes really stood out.
The **Empanada Oaxaqueña is an absolute must-order**, and the **Pork Secreto al Pastor was easily the most memorable dish of the evening**. So delicious and definitely something I would come back for!
We finished with the Mexican chocolate dessert, which was rich, decadent, and packed with flavour. Such a memorable way to end an already wonderful meal.
Overall, a really special dining experience with thoughtful dishes, wonderful service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. Definitely a spot I would recommend for a date night or special celebration! 🤍

Very well deserved Michelin Star here for their unique Mexican charcoal cooked food & overall service!
The standouts definitely were their ceviche & empanada dishes. Great mix of flavours in every bite.
Service was phenomenal here. Very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive the entire time. Changed dishes/ cutlery after each plate & had coat check. For the price, service and food, this restaurant far exceeds anything close by!
Great food! Kishan and I ordered the curated menu, because it's best served if you're a party of two. It was first time for both of us. This was genuinely a great experience. The food is on a pricey side but the experience and the personal touch of people serving the food made it worth it. "Nick" was our server, and he was absolutely fantastic! He whipped up a great drink for us that paired beautifully with the food. Thank you for hosting us! We'll see you again some day, and also thanks for writing up a list of your favourite restaurants and bars.
We came here for a celebration and did the curated menu. We got 10-12 dishes including dessert. The value of what you get is well worth it! All the dishes had their own distinct flavor. They were all delicious they take on the beef tartare was superb. The scallops and the cod were flavour bombs. and the lamb chops were super tender.
Food was incredible, especially the scallop dish that I'll be thinking about for some time. Al pastor, duck, maitakes, chocolate- all delicious.
We did the chef table seating which is in front of the fires. Service was great outside of the "rockstar" ding dong with the No Reservations hat who felt the need to utter some bs under his breath after my wife made a comment about being really hot. Be more professional- we're literally 2 feet from someone who rep's you restaurant
This bespoke menu provides shareable helpings of top notch Mexican Asian fusion with select ingredients. Served by a professional staff in a cozy atmosphere with soft jazz and just the right lighting. We highly recommend the chef's table so you can watch the food being prepared. The chefs were helpful and described what they were working on if asked. If you are on a date night a table might be better. 4 Michelin stars 2022 through 2025 are well deserved. Each dish was a complex melange of flavors. Highly recommend the sea bream, sweet potato and empanada, but literally everything was amazing.
My favourite tasting menu in the entire city. The food was exceptional. Every plate had such a unique flavour profile and the meat was melt in your mouth delicious. We came to celebrate a birthday and were treated with amazing service as well. It’s pricey but well worth it for a special occasion.
Took my partner for his birthday here and was very impressed with all the dishes we had as well as the service. Quetzal deserves a Michelin for sure as each dish was executed well and the plating was beautiful. We ordered the tasting menu and the pacing was perfect. The dishes went from light to heavy and each menu was curated differently per table. Everyone got different dishes around us.
I really enjoyed the Newfoundland scallops, scallop ceviche, and the masa barbacoa with diablo sauce. The masa was all house made. I was really full after eating all the dishes actually. But of course there is always room for dessert. The dessert was tres leches cake and it was really delicious! Highly recommend ordering that if you don't get the tasting menu. It's a dessert worth ordering.
Overall service was fairly quick and there was not much wait in between plates. The restaurant runs like a well oiled machine, as expected as they get so much volume. Overall, such a great experience and it was our first time eating Mexican food at that level. I will come back again to try their regular menu!
Had a nice experience here. Most of the dishes we really liked. The ceviche was good. The squid was cooked perfectly but, personal taste, we didn't like the peanut sauce with it. The bone marrow was superb, but keep in mind there's only about 2 tablespoons worth of actual marrow. The sauce on it was delicious and the shrimp was very good. The pork cracking dish was excellent. Cocktail was ok. Had the Mexican chocolate for dessert which was delicious. The service was very good. While we enjoyed our meal here, it's very pricey for smaller portions (not obnoxiously tiny like in sone higher end restaurants) and we left not full, but close. I would recommend trying it, but we won't go back because we had everything we wanted to try on the menu (the other items didn't really interest us). Food good but very pricey for what you get, but to be expected at a higher end place in Toronto.
