My partner and I came here for brunch on our anniversary and it did not disappoint at all. We sat in the supper room which was nice and quiet and had a complementary drink to start. Our server Liam was amazing! Very kind, attentive and helpful the entire time.

The food was absolutely amazing as well, we got the rare Wagyu beef carpaccio, Mì vịt tiềm and steak lúc lắc. For drinks we had the pandan coffee and jasmine rice lager. Would highly recommend coming here!

Looking forward to coming back another time ✨🌷🪩

Really enjoyed our dinner at Lunch Lady of Saigon. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share, but the Wagyu pho was definitely the star of the meal for me. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the Wagyu was super tender. We also ordered beef carpaccio, Pasta, crab fried rice, steak, and crispy shrimp. Everything we tried was delicious and the drinks were great too. Such a fun and cozy atmosphere and a great spot to come with a group or even for a date night. I would definitely come next time when I am in Toronto.

The restaurant definitely deserves recognition from the Michelin Guide. The menu is so different from your typical Vietnamese restaurant. Almost everything I ate here was delicious. I loved the crispy prawns, beef short rib rigatoni, XO sauce crab fried rice, wagyu pho, pork tomahawk steak, ribeye with cassava fries and Pandan sticky rice cake! While the duck salad was good, I wouldn’t order it again, but I’m looking forward to trying other dishes.

Service was warm and thoughtful. For example, they gave my mom a card for her birthday!

We ordered three dishes and everything hit the mark.
Wagyu Beef Noodle Soup (Phở Bò Wagyu)
A generous bowl of clear, fragrant broth with silky rice noodles, plenty of fresh herbs and green onion, slices of tender cooked beef, and a good pile of rare wagyu that gently cooked in the hot soup. The large piece of bone with marrow standing in the bowl was a rich, satisfying bonus. Clean, well-balanced, and clearly made with care.
Beef Carpaccio (Bò Tái Chánh)
Thinly sliced raw beef spread across the plate, topped with a generous scatter of fresh herbs, crispy fried shallots, and crushed peanuts. Bright, fresh, and full of texture — a really nice contrast to the hot soup.
Chips & Dip (Khoai Chiên & Nước Chấm)
Crispy taro chips (light, delicate, with those characteristic purple flecks) served with a creamy green chili aioli. Simple but excellent; the chips stayed crunchy and the dip had just the right amount of heat and herbiness.
A special shout-out to Reign, who was incredibly helpful when it started raining as we arrived — he kindly helped dry our bike. That small gesture of hospitality made the visit even better.
Solid portions, fresh ingredients, and straightforward Vietnamese cooking done well. A very enjoyable lunch.

My sister and I have been talking about trying The Lunch Lady since it opened and decided that Easter lunch would be the perfect opportunity. It did not disappoint. The food was outstanding. Flavorful and yet not overpowering and not filling. There were 4 of us and we all shared the fried prawns, soft shell crab, duck salad, lemongrass grilled chicken, pork Tomahawk and beef pho. The soft shell crab and duck salad were my favorite. We can't wait to go back for the dinner menu! The restaurant itself was both busy and loud, but despite that our server, Kendra, was present, knowledgeable and helpful not to mention friendly and accommodating. A fantastic experience and considering we were 4 people the bill was $230. Very competitively priced surprisingly.
