I've thus far eaten here three times in the last 18 months. The food & service each time was fantastic!

My only criticism to the restaurant's atmosphere is there is no booth tables or similar seating that would facilitate some privacy, this is unfortunately not the best option for a romantic meal.

For casual and small group dining.... the food and service is fantastic. I love being able to dictate the size of my steak entrée, being able to order a 16oz or 24oz sirloin or ribeye is awesome! Will come back again!!!

This restaurant is very nice, and the servers are very friendly! They also have halal options which is very nice. We ordered the chicken curry don, and the steak udon. The chicken curry don was phenomenal, it was very delicious, and would definitely recommend if you want something that is slightly sweet and savoury! The steak udon was good! I got my steak medium well. The portion size for the steak udon is a bit small (so you may not feel full after eating it). Even though it may look visually plain, the steak was very well cooked, and the broth was sweet and yummy. Service was very fast as well, I definitely recommend this place!

Overall: 6.5/10

The vibes at Holy Cow are nice, and they play some absolute bangers if you're into Japanese music. The servers were also incredibly friendly.

I got the Takoyaki and the Steak Udon (medium). The Takoyaki was just okay, it really needed more sauce or more octopus to stand out.

The Udon was tasty but a little too sweet for me. While the steak was tender, it wasn't anything special, though it's fair for the price.

For dessert, the mango pudding had a funny presentation but the flavor was just normal.

The bathroom is small and was a little bit unclean. I’d give that part a 7/10.

We ordered sukiyaki and wagyu beef. Wagyu was excellent and came with potatoes, onions, broccoli, and corn on a hot plate with steak sauce. Sukiyaki came in a cauldron on a small stove but the stove fire kept going out. The staff were friendly and attentive regarding that. The sukiyaki was good but not as moreish as the previous dish (the broth was a bit sweet to our liking and of course a bit difficult to enjoy because of the fire situation stopping it from boiling). The veggies and meat were delicious though! We also got the The Cat Returns and Castle in the Sky mocktails which were tasty.

It was very quiet around 3-5 PM on a Friday. We were seated next to a staff service desk though which made it awkward at times because the staff were standing next to us often (though it did make it easy to get their attention). The restaurant was clean and nice looking. If you order lunch it comes with a free miso soup and a potato salad. Also, paying in cash gets you 10% off your meal.

Overall really cool place to try Japanese halal beef dishes and we enjoyed our visit. We want to come back to try more cuts and omurice!

The food was great. The fries and potatoes were crispy and well seasoned. The steak was cooked to match the image on the table. The steak plates are a surprisingly good deal as they already include 3 of the side dishes you can order. The Hamburg steak was crispy on the outside with a generous amount of cheese and beef inside and cheese sauce poured over.
They have a few main meals that are not beef in addition to their meals that are your choice of steak on a sizzling platter or rice with smaller steaks or other beef items.
Almost their entire menu is halal but they would be an incredible steakhouse even without it.
Although their prices seem high, the quality of everything we got made it really great value. You don't need much steak when it's really good quality.

The service was fast and really attentive. The restaurant was quite quiet around 5pm on a Tuesday but picked up and was half full by 6pm. The servers were happy to answer questions as well as hand aprons to people who wanted them. The kitchen staff were super thoughtful in asking whether the steak would be shared and if we wanted it sliced. They also brought out plates before we asked when they realized we would be sharing.
There is definitely an element of theatre with items on hot plates since they pour sauce over them as they sizzle. They have a small sign on the table saying that if your hot plate gets cold, they'll swap it for a new one.
There is a 10% discount if you pay cash.
