We got a Manzou birthday cake for my sister recently, and it was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had!

The bakery is located in a remote industrial area, so make sure to keep an eye out for their logo on their window! They offer many different cake flavours, all handcrafted at the bakery. Matcha, strawberry shortcake, black sesame, tiramisu and more.

They also offer cake cups which contain all of their cake flavours in cup form for you to try! It’s a great sampler box to find your favourite flavour, or to simply indulge.

We got the 8” Strawberry Shortcake and it was HEAVENLY. Fresh whipped strawberry buttercream frosting, fresh whipped cream in the centre with strawberries and on top, and the lightest cake batter ever. I easily ate two slices, and usually I can barely finish just one!

I highly recommend Manzou Bakery for your next cake, whatever the occasion. Their cakes are made with lots of love, and you can definitely taste it!

Absolutely worth the drive from downtown Toronto to the store. I got the 6pcs for my partner’s birthday. It was both fun to have mini cakes and different flavours to try at the same time. The cakes were fluffy and not too sweet which exactly what we prefer. Service was also 10/10. I wanted to buy two extra in person and they have those flavours too. We also followed Google Maps instructions and got to the store easily. There’s parking too. Will be back again very soon

This is a takeout only bakery that does cakes and cake cups. I ordered the earl grey and black sesame cake cups and they were delicious - rich, but not too sweet. I can't wait to try their other flavours as well as the cakes.

I also appreciate that their website lists potential dietary restrictions (eggs, gelatin, etc) as well as ingredients.

I recently ordered a strawberry chiffon cream cake for my 22nd birthday. The cake was so soft, not too sweet, and the strawberry mousse was so rich and creamy. The cake was also so vibrant and pretty! I did carry it around without proper cooling packaging so it did melt a bit but that can be avoided through a cooler!

Very easy ordering experience, the cake was a hit! I ordered the strawberry shortcake (snow drop) for a bridal shower and I was very impressed. The texture was so light and airy, the strawberries were fresh and the overall flavour was perfect. Just the right amount of sweetness. I would definitely order here again. I plan on trying the cake cups to have at my next party! Thanks so much.
