Classic old school donuts shop. Feels like stepping back into my teens and going for a donut 🍩.

I got 3 different one's to try:

Old Fashion Peanut: this is pretty awesome. Would eat this again. I want to try to chocolate flavour next time.

Still have to try the lemon filled and the blueberry fritter.

I need to come back and try more options. Lines mores fast which is great.

I've heard good things about this place and finally stopped by to see for myself. I got half a dozen donuts. They are delicious! I will have to bring my dad with me next time. My favourite one i tried was the toasted coconut. The apple fritters have big chunks of apple which I was happy to see! I'll be back next time to try some other flavors. I was shocked to know they are actually open 24/7!

Recently tried this place for the first time after having it on our list to take the kids for some sweet treats. The donuts were amazing very soft, airy, and delicious. We enjoyed them so much that we already went back twice in one week and will definitely be coming again.
The only downside for us was the customer service. The staff seemed a bit stiff and not very talkative or openly friendly. For a donut and coffee shop, we expected the atmosphere to feel a little warmer and more welcoming. Still, the quality of the donuts alone makes it worth visiting.

If there’s one place that completely redefined what a donut should taste like for me in Canada, it’s Grandad’s Donuts. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the first time I took a bite of a donut and genuinely felt overwhelmed by how insanely good it was. The flavor hits you immediately, rich but balanced, not overly sugary like the typical chain options. But what truly sets it apart is the texture. Soft, airy, perfectly structured, it almost melts while still giving that satisfying bite. It feels crafted, not manufactured.

And then there’s the donut I’ve been searching for everywhere. A proper chocolate dipped donut with peanuts done right. Not overloaded, not messy, just the perfect ratio of chocolate, crunch, and dough. You won’t find that at Tim Hortons, and that alone makes this place special. Every bite felt intentional, like someone actually cared about making the perfect donut.

This is not just a good donut shop. This is the kind of place that makes you pause mid bite and think, “wow, this is what it’s supposed to be.” I cannot recommend it enough.

1 chocolate walnut donut (walnut crunch?) + 1 éclair + 1 medium coffee for under $8.00.

I visited for the first time at 6:30 a.m. on a Sunday, and many people were grabbing boxes of donuts. It must be a local gem! 💎

I usually find that coffee at independent donut shops tastes very strong and acidic, but the coffee here was mild and really nice.

Donuts were very good!
So we decided to get six more in a small box! 👍👍
