Amazing experience, wonderful staff, great community! You can’t order anything bad here, and there are so many cute places to sit and hang out inside and outside. 10 out of 10 experience I would come here every day if I could!

Fantastic little coffee shop on the edge of Kensington market. The BEST drip coffee in the area without question, and reasonable prices for the area. Nice little patio outside and the staff was super nice. Five stars!

Moonbeam Café has been holding its ground in Kensington Market for ages, like that one neighbor who never moves and quietly judges everyone else. The coffee hits hard, which is great because you’ll need it to stay awake in the dimly lit, mildly claustrophobic interior. They call it “cozy.” I call it a place where you can hear every single stranger breathe. In the summer, the patio saves the day. People spill outside, pretending it’s Paris, when really it’s just a back alley with potted plants.

This is not the kind of café where freelancers squat with laptops all afternoon. The tables turn over fast, partly because the chairs are just comfortable enough to remind you they exist, but not enough to make you linger. The prices are higher than you’d like, but after two sips, you stop caring. By the last drop, you’ve convinced yourself you just paid for the authentic Kensington experience, and that’s the joke you willingly walked into.

Staff was very nice! London fog was great, and ordered the green tea and walnut cranberry oat too (also good). Cash accepted here!

Generally quiet at the back seating area on Saturday morning around 9am to noon. Good place to get some work done. There’s additional seating near the front and also an outdoor patio space (both at the front and back)

Nice foamy and great coffee. London Fog was flavorful with vanilla and bergamot flavors.
Both were great. Cookies and Freshly baked pastries were also available.
