For the weekend, opening at 9 am seems a bit late, but we planned to arrive 10 before they opened as we heard the lines start early and we were right! Service and atmosphere was nice and food came out almost immediately. I might be one of the few, but I am really not a fan of "biscuit" like pancakes but there is enough on the menu that you will not go hungry.

I visited Mildred’s Temple Kitchen after seeing their famous blueberry pancakes all over TikTok, and they definitely lived up to the hype. I’m very glad they offer the option to order just one pancake, because I definitely wouldn’t have finished three! The pancake was light, fluffy, and really flavorful, especially with the cream and blueberries.

I also ordered the gingerbread latte. The drink itself was very good and I enjoyed the flavor, but I probably could have done without the cookie crumbs on top. They looked nice for presentation, but the texture wasn’t ideal while actually drinking it.

The ambience was lovely and the service was great. Since I was dining alone, I was seated right away, which I really appreciated. Overall, a really enjoyable visit.

I’m a wedding photographer, and I genuinely love photographing weddings at Mildred’s Temple Kitchen. Here’s why. The atmosphere: if you want a wedding that feels more like an incredible dinner party than a formal ballroom event, this place delivers. The food is outstanding. And yes, that matters. Guests remember great food. The location: right in the heart of Liberty Village. Brick walls, industrial textures, and urban backdrops = endless photo opportunities within a short walk.
The wedding coordination team is next level.
Michael, who leads the coordination, is always calm, organized, and genuinely kind. Things run smoothly. And always with a smile.
If you’re looking for a Toronto wedding venue that feels casual but intentional, stylish but not stiff, Mildred’s Temple Kitchen is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend it to couples who want a relaxed, beautifully run wedding with amazing food and great energy.

My friend and I visited on a Saturday and we were met with a long line of guests waiting to dine in. The restaurant does not take reservations on weekends, but since there were only two of us, we were able to get bar seating within 10 minutes.

The service was great. Our waitress thoroughly explained the menu including allergy considerations and popular items. We ordered The Shak, the wild blueberry buttermilk pancakes, and a scone and biscuit served with jam. The main dishes were served fresh and warm.

However the shakshuka did not fully match the menu description. The pita bread was split in half, which felt cheap and the dish was heavily tomato based. It could have benefited from a better egg and tomato ratio, and the feta was placed in dollops rather than evenly distributed. Overall, I would rate this dish a 6/10.

The pancakes were enjoyable but quite thick, and I would not consider them the best pancakes in Toronto. The blueberry flavour was subtle, while the maple syrup was nicely sweet and the whipped cream was excellent. Giving them a rating of 7/10.

Service was great and wait time for food was reasonable. While it was worth trying, I don't believe I would return.

I had been eyeing them and finally got to try. The restaurant is airy, modern, and beautiful with an open concept kitchen. Food is delicious and worth the price for the amount of meat/protein. Both salmon and steak sandwiches are mildly seasoned but cooked well with the right texture. I’m happy that they have the mini version of their famous blueberry pancake as we prefer savoury main dishes. The pancake is balanced between fluffy and dense; and blueberry sauce is beautiful. The wait time for the weekend would be 30-60 mins.

We dined here for the first time for my birthday lunch and it was a lovely experience. I’ve heard of this restaurant for a while and decided to take the plunge after seeing a friend’s glowing reviews and food photos. Hubby and I had the infamous blueberry compote pancakes and our son had the grilled cheese sandwich. Pancakes were extremely unique; was way heavier than it looks and quite delicious. Son loved the grilled cheese, golden and crispy. Staff were attentive and accommodating. We had our 11.5-month-old with us and it was still a relaxing lunch. Recommended brunch experience on a weekday, make a reservation as they are popular!

Had the best kale salad & strawberry matcha here. Was so delish! Life changing 😍😍. My waiter Conor was from Ireland and he was so friendly and so helpful. So nice to know that they have such kind and dedicated staff here. Will definitely go back. Pop in if u are ever in the area 100%.

Brunch food beyond the ordinary eggs and bacon you could get anywhere (here you can order those as sides). We loved our blueberry pancakes and the tarte (like a fantastic quiche but with a way better pastry crust). Generous portions. Grapefruit NA spritz fantastic. Weekend wait list worked well. We enjoyed walking around and got coffee at Balzacs nearby.

We visited as a family of four for brunch and weren’t disappointed with both menu and quality of the dishes served. It was really busy when we arrived, which is a good sign, and we only had to wait outside for a few minutes. There is a service whereby if you have a Canadian phone number, they will text you when a table is ready. There is a decent sized outside area, or alternatively the inside is really nice.
