The food is tasty, but depending on the thing you get, it may or may not be good value. The meatball sub hoagie was a humongous portion and you don't need a combo to feel full, but we also got the Nashville hot chicken combo for $22 that was not worth how few fries you get (bc why am I paying an extra $8 for a small fries and a can of pop?). The Nashville chicken sandwich was also very oily so beware as you're eating it, but it was crispy and had good flavour.

Bc they're located in the financial district, it gets super busy during lunch time but we managed to snag a little booth seat after waiting about 5 minutes. Tbh the seats are super uncomfortable and not ergonomic nor well prepared for anybody to hang up any coats or bags, but I guess you wouldn't really sit here to chill; just eat and go.

What a let down. I was an avid diner for years and years at their original location. I went to their new location today (which was really hard to find if you’re not familiar with the building it’s in) and ordered my absolute favourite, OG Chicken sandwich. This sandwich was consistent every time I got it in the past. Since I used to work in the King West area I would go fairly often. I was so disappointed today to find out that it’s not even remotely the same. It’s now just a normal fried chicken sandwich. I’ll go find one of the thousands available in Toronto since the unique, delicious, tangy one is not this one on the menu. That one is gone and has been replaced. Other negatives: the design of this kiosk is cold, and lab like. The paint is also crumbling and the shelves are bare. Not inviting at all. All the other kiosks around are warm and have people working who are visible. This place is completely hidden and everything is in the back (including staff). Which brings me to my next negative. I waited a good 5 minutes before someone poked their head around the corner to greet me and take my order. Then the worker went to the back to the kitchen again. While he was gone another customer came up and waited but left because no one was there. I hate being negative but I was really disappointed today. What was once a Toronto staple and icon is gone. How hard is it to replicate the original OG chicken sandwich?

The people who work there are so rude!!! Such an unfriendly environment. I’m always walking by and have ordered food a lot there in the past, but when trying to order something, all the female workers look like they don’t want to be there and give such a rude tone/attitude which makes customers anxious and double think to come back or even order. It’s not happened once or twice. Tried to give it a chance again multiple times but seriously, what’s with the people who work there being so unwelcoming to kind loyal customers? Other people I know who’s been there, agrees and hasn’t gone back so it’s just not me. And it’s way too overpriced for sandwiches and fries that aren’t even enjoyable now. I mean, look at all the reviews, everyone mainly agrees. Also, it isn’t even that good as I said. No wonder why they went out of business at their main location at King. I’m typically a person who never leaves a bad review & hate to tear a business apart but it’s that bad…

Are people in Toronto okay? No one asked how the “sandwiches” are prepared!?! They’re pre-made in advance! Charging $16+ for a sandwich that was sitting there and they heat it up after a customer places an order. Even I had enough common sense not to eat the “sandwich”. Any of you actually see a kitchen anywhere?!? 😂 WOW TORONTO 😂

Overall good. Fries were crispy and fluffy and well salted. Seemed a little flavorless though. Definitely needs ketchup.

The "Just Porchetta" sandwich is good although it could use more crackling. Mustard is quite strong so be prepared for that.

Food made fresh to order so it takes a few minutes to be ready when it's not busy, probably longer during a lunch rush.

Local fellow workers introduced me to this local lunch restaurant. I'm not from Toronto and never heard of this restaurant, but it came recommended by my co-workers. They were right on! Good food for lunch. I had the Porchetta meal with some kind of green vegetable side order, spicy garlic rapini. Awesome meal. I never tried rapini before, but will definitely order again. At twenty three dollars I thought it was affordable as well.

Best sandwich with crispy pork skin truly worth driving to. Very high quality and consistent glad I don't live near it would put on weight daily. I hear the other stuff is great too first tried porchetta at an Italian stag left an impression. Roasted suckling pig so moist and tender. Five stars buy two one might make it home if you are strong willed. If you can't afford Wurst this is plan B.

Passed by here by chance and heard two women talk about the sandwiches. This helped me decide to try the O.G fried chicken sandwich. I paid for the sandwich and got handed a number. I saw people place their numbers on a table and did the same. Orders are placed in line with these numbers for pickup.

Seating is available but I went back to my office to enjoy my sandwich. And enjoy it I did. So much so that I have gone back several times since then.

If you happen to be near First Canadian Place in downtown Toronto and are hungry, go to this purveyor of delicious sandwiches. You will not be disappointed.

Just go. You won't regret it. Their pork belly melts in your mouth and they have some of the best fried chicken that's ever existed.

Came here from looking at the fantastic reviews.. was disappointed.

I wasn’t too sure what to order when I first came in and the guy at cash was not helpful at all. When he was taking our orders he saw how indecisive we were being and was just plain rude to us. He rushed us and straight up told us we weren’t being clear, when there was literally no one behind us. I definitely thought he could have been a lot more helpful.

I ended up ordering the rice ball dish which they told me they tried making 5 times and it broke apart each time. So they let me change my order at no cost, but the food was mediocre. Not too flavourful, I think the beans were the best part.

The staff are quite nice and helpful when ordering and pretty fast service. The sandwiches however were just ok. The "og" ranch sauce was over powering and the special which was a mock big mac had too much cheese not enough lettuce.

Been coming to this place for years. Small counter shop with a few seats. Their menu has expanded to include fried chicken. But their main specialty is Porchetta! They make it perfectly with the right balance of meat, fat and crackling. Execution is good with the right balance of mustard, truffle sauce, hot sauce and cheese. I always order the house special with extra meat. It is a little pricey for a sandwich but this is a specialty shop and is really the only legit porchetta game in town. Never been disappointed here.

There fried chicken and pork sandwich are amazing. The mustard dressing in the pork sandwich is what really brings it to another level. Reasonably priced for the area. Lines aren't too bad when I went after work around 5pm. You will enjoy it.

I been waiting to come to this place after hearing about it over a year. I got those special with pork and mustard and truffle, these were what I clearly remember. While the other sandwich was the chicken.

Both these sandwiches was very tasty and the bun they used was really good and what makes it such a great sandwich to munch down on. Every bite you get a good portion of everything in the sandwich. The meat was very tender and cooked to perfection.

They don't have a machine that accepts tap payment but they do take credit card. It's a great place for a quick bite or take out. Only about 5 seats in the restaurant.
