AMAZING
Today, despite the snow, I went to the store and ordered two sandwiches to go. The store seemed very cozy and spacious. When I got home, I cut the sandwiches into bite-sized portions of protein and vegetables. An excellent option to share with friends.
I’ve heard about this place in a long time, luckily I got a shift close to Grandma love you, stopped by to check out the place and John was really helpful and knowledgeable, he went an extra mile just to make sure I get my order right.
People like John makes me come back to the same restaurant, home vibes 🫡
Thank you John.
I just had one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever tasted — every bite was perfection. The bread was soft yet slightly toasted, giving that satisfying crunch without overpowering the fillings. The layers inside were packed with flavor: fresh, crisp veggies, perfectly seasoned meat, and a creamy sauce that tied it all together. You could taste the freshness in every ingredient.
What really stood out was the balance — nothing too salty, nothing too heavy. Just rich, flavorful goodness that makes you want another bite right after finishing the last one. It’s the kind of sandwich that makes your day instantly better — comforting, delicious, and absolutely worth craving again.
Grandma Loves You is a must visit if your looking for a quick bite yet fulfilling quality meal sandwich.
Finally visited them after so much word of mouth of stories from my friends and family on how incredible they are and I must admit they're absolutely correct about them.
Service is beyond amazing! I have never met such a welcoming and friendly business owners in my life. They are very attentive and knowledgeable with their products. And they even offer suggestions if your undecided what to order.
Food are so delicious and excellent quality. Their bread sandwiches are freshly baked from their affiliated bakery, meat and other produce products are high quality. I honestly feel like in Europe!
One of my favourite is the Chef Choice and the French hotdog on a Crossaint bun with Brie cheese + blueberry sauce. Now this is a must to try yet go with your tastebuds because everything are incredibly delicious 👌
In case you plan to visit; have an extra patience to wait for your meal because they tend to get busy. Waiting time is usually about 15-20min and they usually bring it outside for you.
Or perhaps try ordering on their website and set up your time for pick up or dine-out patio!
Grandma doesn't love me.
This place was a huge disappointment. The bread was not fresh, it was rubbery, tough, and chewy. That's sandwich shop 101; have fresh bread! Also, the sandwiches were overly expensive and weren't as thick and layered as one would expect for the premium price.
Literally any corner store deli or bodega in New York would put this place to shame. I guess that's Toronto for ya....Also, any real sandwich lover knows that mortadella has to be shaved paper thin. That wasn't the case with this sandwich. The mortadella was sliced a bit too thick and wasn't layered properly. Also, I'd rather have fresh mozzarella than goat cheese with mortadella. My fault for ordering that sandwich though...
Waste of a drive here, plus paid parking, and $50 for two sandwiches and a drink. Complete fail. The midtown hipsters will likely find little wrong with this spot, but if you know a thing or two and want a sandwich that matches what you'd expect at a real deli, avoid this chain.
Pretty basic sandwich shop with decent albeit expensive sandwiches. Honestly the pricing is probably considered normal for the area of Toronto. But $20 for a foot long sandwich is pretty steep given that it’s not something I’d write home about. I’ve gone twice, the first time I had a 4 seasons sandwich which is a cold sandwich. I went back try a hot sandwich thinking maybe it’s just that I’m not a huge fan of cold sandwiches and had the chef’s choice (pictured) but still felt it was pretty mid.
But hey it’s better than subway and Quiznos.
The coffee is average too but it’s cheaper than the Starbucks across the street if I recall correctly
My new favourite sandwich in Toronto! They have an amazing selection of sandwiches and the hot dogs look incredible as well.
The staff were really friendly which made the experience even better. The prices were good and you get a large sandwich.
The 12 inch can definitely be shared.
Amazing food and super quick service. I got the chefs special hot sandwich and my friend got the roasted chicken one and they were honestly the best sandwiches we’ve ever had. Fresh bread, lots of sauce, absolutely stuffed full of sandwich fillings. Love the whole experience. Highly recommend eating here.
Absolutely amazing!! Honestly the best sandwich shop in Toronto! I didn't know a sandwich could taste so good until I tried Grandma Loves You. The freshest and best quality ingredients. I could literally eat here everyday. And the small business owners Artin and Sarah are the nicest people you'll ever meet! So kind and generous it's heartwarming. The energy and customer service of all the staff too makes for such a joyful experience every time. And I recently placed a catering order for a large event, and everyone after their first bite was in love with Grandma Loves You! Definitely recommend!!
A small takeout place with about 4 counter chairs. Very busy and we waited about 30 minutes for the subs to be ready.
Friendly and efficient server behind the counter.
We had the hot grilled chicken sub which was substantial and excellent value considering the quality.
They also have a selection of gourmet which we will try on our next visit.
