Jerusalem Restaurant was established in 1971 and became the first middle-eastern restaurant to serve the Greater Toronto Area. It was the joint venture of three brothers who shared the idea of introducing traditional culinary secrets to the mainstream. Since then, it has always been valued for its excellent quality and great tasting food. Currently, there are two locations in Toronto and one in Mississauga. All three are family owned and operated providing its clientele with a warm, casual atmosphere delivering a splendid variety of home-style middle-eastern cuisine. Essential to the success of this family operated business is the emphasis placed on delivering consistent top quality food made from the finest ingredients to ensure complete customer satisfaction. At Jerusalem Restaurant we take great pride in having perfected this art as a tradition.

One of the best places in TO for take out falafel

We decided to stop by for take out falafel on our biking trip. There had been a review of several falafel restaurants about a year ago in the paper, and this was rated number 1. For $2.95 you get a big sandwich with all the filling. Not sure it was the best falafel I've ever had, but it was pretty good. And you certainly can't beat the price.

Loved it. Great variety of food, always hot, always plentiful. Great atmosphere--made me think of the "Casbah" with the draped scarves on the ceiling. Service was very good as well. Reasonable prices. A neat experience.

Tonight was about my 5th time gorging at this outstanding buffet where they keep the selection fresh and piled high. There's great variety and you can’t help but try something completely new.

Even neala.n49.ca (normally a very tough customer) was pleased and must have eaten twice what that svelte body of his normally takes in during an entire day!

Reasonable price and good service top it off.
